Location of NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon was excellent. I was able to easily walk to major attractions as well as to some great restaurants for dinner. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, though perhaps not necessarily 5-star quality. The bathroom was very small, but still functional; the shower did not drain very quickly. There weren't a lot of outlets in the room, but enough to charge my devices. The rooftop terrace was stunning and offered a spectacular view of the city. All in all, I had an enjoyable stay.
NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon was our second stop in Spain. This beautiful hotel was perfectly situated in the city center. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing and watching the sunset was our favorite part. The room was spacious and spotless, loved the separate shower and bath. It was well-equipped with a hair dryer, a full length mirror, and plenty of plug sockets. The beds were super comfy and the toilet closet was still slightly small. We enjoyed the complimentary mini-bar and the scrumptious food served at the rooftop bar. The drinks were great and the tacos even better! All in all it was an amazing stay and we'd highly recommend it!
The staff was very friendly and helpful and they made sure that we had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, close to many attractions and transport links, making it easy to get around. We also liked the rooftop pool and spa area, where we took some relaxing time after a busy day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, highly recommended.
We are very pleased with our stay at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon. The hotel was in the perfect location for sightseeing and shopping and was close to many attractions and transport links. The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the bar was a beautiful place to relax with a stunning view. The rooftop pool and spa area were really nice and provided the perfect spot for us to unwind after an exciting day. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back here again.
We were excited to stay at the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon, especially since it was part of the American Express Hotel Collection. We had booked a premium room with terrace and were surprised when we were given a much smaller room on the first floor with a squeaky bed. We called the front desk and the concierge quickly came up with a key to another room. This second room had a much nicer terrace, a larger room with a sofa and a comfy, quiet bed. The room was the same premium room with terrace as the first room, yet we can't help but feel like the hotel gave us an inferior room to start - not quite up to the standard of the American Express Hotel Collection.

I had a great time staying at NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooftop bar had a spectacular view and the cocktails were really amazing. The hotel was located in a great spot too, making it really easy to explore. The room was clean and neat, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
