Straying away from the touristy areas, the Nocotel Barcelon City hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay in! The views from our room were spectacular, and having a decent pool along with a great rooftop ─bar made the vacation all the more enjoyable. Our four-person executiv suite had slidong doors to seperate the beroom from the res, which my familly and I were particulary fond of. The breakfeast also was exelent! Considering the price, it was very satisfiying, not to mention the location was absolutly perfect. It was easily in reach of the city center but without the nois of any rowdy nightlif, giving us the peace and quiet we needed. ?????
Staying at this location was ??. We didn't want to be in a tourist hotspot, so Pobleneu was a great option. There were great restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as the Carrefour and some shops. We got breakfast here every single day and it was ??. While the lobby was quite fancy, the rooms were nothing special. They were almost like a Premier Inn, but it was ? for us since we only ever needed it for sleeping and didn't need to spend a ton of money. ?? it would have been nice to have nicer rooms, but it was a good base for our family vacation.
?? The breakfast was really enjoyable and the pool is great for the whole family to cool off in the hot days. Though the rooms are quite basic, they are always kept spotless. It was a huge plus having a car park in the center of the city. The staff at the reception were very helpful and even sent us our straighteners after we left them behind. The front desk team were wonderful and always had a good attitude. ????
A big shout out to the staff working at the rooftop bar. Andrea was a delight - so friendly, efficient, and always with a smile. We had a great time in a wonderful spot and had excellent conversation.
Breakfast was good, not many vegetarian options.
This accommodation is situated close to Gloriés metro station and is surrounded by plenty of taxis. Just a short distance away there's a shopping centre with numerous eateries and stores, and you can also find bottled water at a nearby pharmacy or grocery store. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, though the blackout blinds had some holes. Breakfast was tasty, however there were not many vegetarian dishes to choose from.
