Our stay at this hotel was an absolute pleasure ?! We were welcomed by the friendly staff and felt very taken care of throughout our stay. The Continental Breakfast was definitely ? and you should definitely make sure to spend some time on the rooftop terrace. Our room was immaculate and offered a stunning view of Avenue Diagonal ?. We think this hotel accommodates every type of traveler ???? making it an excellent option no matter the purpose of your stay ?.
I had a wonderful stay at the Occidental Diagonal 414 Hotel in Barcelona. The room was immaculate, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooftop deck was an amazing spot for winding down after a day of sightseeing. Overall, it was the perfect place for a city break with a friend.
This weekend was great. We spent some time on the hotel's rooftop, which was an amazing experience. Getting to take in an incredible view of Barcelona while sipping on one of their delicious cocktails was truly incredible. We'll be sure to stay at this hotel again the next time we visit the area.
We visited with our family of 4, staying in 2 lovely twin rooms, each with a Juliette balcony. We found the rooms were very modern and bright, with excellent beds complete with luxurious white cotton duvets and large pillows. There was also a large TV, iron, fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. The downside to the rooms were the "bathrooms". The shower was nice and spacious with a hand and rain shower, but the basin/mirror was in the middle of the room with no back to it, so things were always falling off. There was no wardrobe, but enough hanging/shelf space for a couple of nights. We were on the 5th floor, with a lift accessible by key card when entering from the lobby. Breakfast was plentiful and varied with both hot and cold dishes, although there was only 1 hot drinks machine which meant at times you had to wait. The hotel also had a lovely roof terrace with a great view of the city, and a pool bar. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was well situated, around 10 minutes from the Sagrada Familia. Right opposite was a fantastic tapas bar called Salto Alto. Great for a city break!
We chose this accommodation from our list after careful consideration and weren't let down. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back, the staff were accommodating and the rooftop bar had beautiful views. It was the perfect place from which to explore the city. We were curious to know if the noise level would increase when the blocked-off roads and detours nearby were removed. Fortunately, the double glazing kept the traffic noise from being too loud.
