I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, the room and bathroom spotless and the bed super comfortable. I should have been given a pair of slippers and a robe, as it had been indicated in my booking. Even though the view was not extraordinary, it wasn't important for me since I travel to explore the sights. On top of that, the hotel is very well situated, with the metro close by. I definitely suggest this hotel and the price you pay is worth the quality of the service.
I found this hotel to be great! The staff at the front desk was so welcoming - they even gave us a small bottle of Cava as a welcome gift! The room was really spacious and comfortable, with great beds and an amazing shower. The breakfast buffet was also really nice - very hearty and filling. Not to mention, the lobby had a really nice atmosphere.
I had a great stay in May. As a solo female traveller, I highly recommend this hotel at the edge of Barcelona's old town. The location is good, with the underground roughly a 5-7 minute walk away and plenty of local shops and restaurants. I felt safe walking home alone at night, with locals happily chatting and drinking at the outdoor bar. The room was secure, the hotel was safe and quiet, yet situated in a vibrant neighbourhood. It's not huge but it was clean, bright and new. Plus the customer service was both gentle and kind. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
Location, overall quality, attentive and cheerful service as well as nutritious breakfast options all surpassed our expectations! The rooftop offers a wonderful atmosphere and a view over parts of the city and beyond that still lingers on the mind. The open plan rooms are not the conventional set up, yet the flow works very well. It could be a bit challenging to achieve total personal privacy (a possible consideration if not sharing with a spouse/partner). There is some noise and vibrations from the underground at various times, though we did not find it to be disruptive at all on our floor. We were very pleased with our stay and would most certainly stay again if we were to return.
We had a fantastic stay at the Occidental Diagonal 414 Hotel in Barcelona! The hotel was clean and had great food and excellent service, and the staff were all incredibly kind. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was perfect for us - it was close to all the places we wanted to visit, public transport links, and yet was in a peaceful and quiet area. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
