Olivia Balmes Hotel

During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a lovely hotel for three days. There were a few features that stood out to me during my stay that made it truly enjoyable. Firstly, the hotel itself was beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms were equipped with USB ports and 3pin ports, which made it very convenient for charging my devices. Secondly, the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They made sure all of my needs were met throughout my entire stay. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

This was one of the most enjoyable stays I've had during my many years of travel. The hotel has a modern and welcoming atmosphere, and its location in Gaixample was perfect for exploring. I can honestly say that I have no complaints about my experience here. I found the best rate by booking directly through their website, although the process was a bit cumbersome and required a few exchanges with the reservations manager. Perhaps this is something the hotel could work on improving. Additionally, I would suggest investing in a better cappuccino machine for the breakfast buffet. The ones we encountered in Portugal and Spain only made weak lattes.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel in Barcelona. The staff at the reception were incredibly helpful, and the rooms were large and spotless. Every single thing in the room was in perfect working order. I would definitely choose to stay here again. The employees were extremely professional and the hotel's location was ideal, with everything conveniently nearby, including some wonderful restaurants.

I was so hyped for my stay at this hotel after reading the reviews. However, my experience was more of a solid 4/5. The rooms were great and the pool was OK. But what held it back from a perfect score? Well, check-in took a while with only one receptionist and the rooms weren't ready until 3 PM Plus, the pool bar was closed and the restaurant bar service was a bit challenging. We ordered cocktails and had to wait forever while the bartender looked up recipes. The restaurant staff seemed like they were still in training too ? Overall, the hotel just needs some staff polishing to reach a 5/5 and maybe rethink its prices...

The accommodations we chose in Barcelona were truly deserving of its consistent 5-star ratings. The team at this establishment were not only friendly and attentive, but also eager to assist in any way possible. Each morning, a satisfying array of breakfast options was available to us. Our room had a thoughtful design and was serviced daily, with small touches like chocolates left on the bed each night. The location was ideal, just a short stroll to the subway and plenty of great dining options nearby. We highly recommend this as a top choice for lodging in Barcelona and hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.
