Royal Ramblas

The location of this hotel is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable. However, there is room for improvement in terms of cleaning, especially in the shower area. I highly recommend asking for a receptionist named Lidia, as she provided excellent service. The bellman, Yurkin, was also great. The staff in the breakfast area could work on smiling a bit more. Despite some minor hiccups, I would choose to stay at this hotel again because of the exceptional service from Lidia and Yurkin.

I stayed at the Royal Ramblas Hotel during my recent trip to Barcelona, and I must say I had a delightful experience! Its location is perfect for exploring the city, and the hotel itself is spotlessly clean and cozy. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient, which made for a very smooth and pleasant stay. The room was also surprisingly spacious and comfortable, and I was pleased that in spite of three of us staying in the room, we never felt cramped. All in all, the Royal Ramblas Hotel was the perfect place for our four-day stay in Barcelona, and I would highly recommend it!

Our stay at this four-star hotel was a great one. Check in was easy and the front desk staff were incredibly polite. Our room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. When we arrived, we were given complimentary bottles of water and were given fresh ones each day. The breakfast was tasty but could have been more varied. The hotel's location is its best feature, with plenty of stores, cafes, and restaurants within easy reach. Unsurprisingly, the price reflects this.

Staying at this accommodation, we were met with a sense of quality from the moment we arrived by taxi. Lili, the receptionist, was so helpful with all our concerns and questions, even accommodating us for an extra two nights with no fuss. We absolutely loved our room - double glazing suppressed the noise and the view of the Ramblas meant we felt part of the city. The only downside was the lack of conditioner in the bathroom. We'd recommend getting breakfast included with the room, and the hotel is conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and tapas bars. The theatre-goers' bar next door proved a great spot.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! We arrived from a cruise incredibly early, and they still managed to make us feel welcome. One even offered to hold our bags until our room was ready - which we appreciated so much that we went out and did some sightseeing until we got the email that the room was available. The room itself was great - it had a small fridge and a kettle, and everything was well supplied for us. Breakfast was included and it had a great selection of both hot and cold dishes. Everyone was so friendly, and when I had an accident with some water, they didn't bat an eye. The location was also excellent - it was within walking distance of a lot of attractions and there were plenty of taxi and public transport stops nearby. When it came to leaving for the airport early in the morning, they even arranged a taxi to take us there and helped us with our suitcases. All in all, we had a super experience and will definitely be coming back again! 11 gold stars!
