U232 Hotel

During our recent visit to Barcelona, my friend and I booked two rooms at this hotel - one with two double beds and another with a balcony. Unfortunately, both rooms had issues with the mattresses. Despite the room temperature being comfortable, we found ourselves drenched in sweat every night. We believe this was due to the plastic lining on the fitted sheets, which seemed to trap body heat. While the hotel staff were friendly and everything else was satisfactory, the uncomfortable sleep caused by the mattress issue greatly impacted our stay and we won't be coming back.

The hotel has lovely decor, is quite cozy and spotlessly clean. The employees were extremely competent and amiable. Breakfast was exceptional, offering a diverse selection that would satisfy most palates. However, I was taken aback by the closure of the bar without any explanation given.

Our hotel experience was excellent. The highlight was the reception staff, who were incredibly helpful and efficient during check-in. One of the staff members stood out in particular for his exceptional service, although I unfortunately cannot recall his name. All of the staff were fantastic. Although our room did not have windows, it was a minor inconvenience as our stay was only for one night. We look forward to returning.

On my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel I had previously visited. This time, I was accompanied by my wife and our stay was just as delightful. From our seamless check-in to the room we had requested, everything was perfect. The daily breakfast and housekeeping were commendable, making our experience truly enjoyable.

? I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room I was given had a window that couldn't be closed properly, which is ? not acceptable for a hotel room. I believe this should have been mentioned beforehand and I should have been given a different room.
