Don't let them mistreat you! The unpleasant, primitive, and inappropriate attitude of the reception staff totally ruined my day in Barcelona. Avoid staying at this hotel, and their transfer to the airport was poor too.

What a terrible place to stay! Everything seems normal at first: reception is alright (as long as you get a working keycard), and the air conditioning in the lobby is a blessing on hot days. Inside your room, however, it's a different story. You can hear the slightest noise from above and people out in the hallway, and air conditioning in the bedrooms is only marginally effective. On top of that, there are no coffee facilities in-room; we were sent to a machine, but it only served hot water! The worst part of it all, however, is the staff. While most are fine, there are a few who treat customers like dirt. The bar waiter was especially bad - his attitude was like that of a school bully. Even the restaurant food is to be avoided; the Paella was the worst I've ever had! Just to be clear, this is no laughing matter. This place is so poorly managed and staffed, it's a complete embarrassment. You'd be wise to avoid it.
Staying at this hotel worked out perfectly for my one night stopover in Barcelona! ? A short taxi ride to the city centre, ? a convenient transit bus to the airport and an amazing restaurant for dinner - what more could you ask for? ? Not to mention, the staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay. ??
Booked this place for a 5-hour layover. At 5:15am, I went for the hotel shuttle which is supposed to run every 20 minutes. Over the next hour, I saw 5 shuttles for a different hotel and 4 for long term parking - nothing from this one. Called them after 40 minutes and then an hour. Reception said they do not know where shuttles are and do not control them. Driver showed up at 6:15 - when I asked where he was, he shrugged his shoulders, put his hands up and told me to speak to the hotel if I had a problem. Reception then said they don’t know where either of the 2 drivers were nor do they know how to contact them. When leaving at 10am, one shuttle was sat outside with the driver smoking across the street. Then he opened a sandwich and sat and ate it. I called a taxi, waited 15 mins and he was still sitting without a care in the world. The only reason this place is here is for these types of layovers. Book with another hotel instead. I saw their shuttles 5 times in the hour I waited - one guy 3 times (and he was helpful in confirming I was in the right pickup spot)….
Really enjoyed our stay ???. Lovely room and modern hotel ?. Great big swimming pool which we made use of ?. Lunch was nice ?. Only downside not much In the area ?. With the room service menu the same as lunch we got a delivery for dinner ?. Shuttle bus great service ?. Will stay again ?.
