BAH Barcelona Airport Hotel

except my last night taxi experience which was incredibly excellent.

The ? is really nice and 7 minutes away from the airport. The bed was ? comfy and breakfast ? was delicious. We ate at the La Sal Marina restaurant and the codfish cakes, boneless chicken wings and codfish main dish were all ?. Prices were good too! The hotel even provides a free shuttle to and from the airport. Juan Jose, the driver, was ?? helpful with the luggage. Unfortunately, the other driver we had wasn't so helpful - he had a paper in the window saying it wasn't his responsibility to help. That's why I didn't give a 5. The hotel is pretty isolated so it's ? only for a quick stay between flight connections. Taxis aren't easy to come by, but our last night taxi experience was ? great.

Despite not being at the airport, getting to this hotel was a far from pleasant experience. An uninviting van expecting the elderly couple to load their own luggage, no one to greet them and no assistance with their luggage meant a an experience that did not set the right tone. The hotel was also situated in a less than desirable area, making it difficult to enjoy the city. To add insult to injury, the food at the hotel's restaurant was subpar, so one might as well travel 15 minutes further and enjoy a good meal in a beautiful setting. All in all, this place created a terrible impression with no redeeming features.

We enjoyed a 3-night city break in Barcelona with my teenager son. The hotel shuttle was prompt and efficient, and check-in was quick when we arrived late into the night. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and even though it's close to the airport, we were pleased to find it really quiet outside. ? Breakfast was included and had a great selection of hot and cold food, plus ? the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a pool with ample towels but not many sun loungers. ? The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating - they even looked after our luggage until our flight. The staff in the restaurant weren't as friendly but were efficient. We got a bus every 12 minutes into the city centre which was great, and also used it to visit the lively nearby town of Llogrebat - full of bars and restaurants, ? with a friendly atmosphere in the evenings. Overall, it was a great stay and a great value compared to other hotels in the city centre. Plus, you can conveniently commute to both the airport and city centre. ??

We experienced a pleasant stay as a family of 6 from the USA. The hotel requires a 7 minute drive from the international terminal T1, but the provided shuttle service every 20 minutes ensures easy access. The rooms and linens were immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't order food, but the selection offered looked light and appetizing. Although the hotel is situated in a corporate/commercial neighbourhood, the street parking in front of it was easily accessible. Also, the WIFI was free and fast. The room was quiet and peaceful, and there are no restaurants nearby. All in all, we would have no problem staying there again.

This place had a great king mattress that was so comfortable! An outdoor pool and a shuttle to Terminal 1 was provided, which had an incredibly helpful driver to help with carrying our suitcases. To top it off, there was a convenient cafe across the street where we had lunch. This was easily the most affordable airport hotel with a shuttle, and they even allowed us to check in early at noon, which was such a nice surprise!
