Best Western Plus Hotel Alfa Aeropuerto

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were clean and peaceful, although on the smaller side, they still had a cozy feel. While they do not offer amenities such as a conference room, pool, or gym, they do have a comfortable lounge and restaurant, as well as free wifi, a shuttle service, and a bathtub in each room. The location is convenient for those needing to be close to the airport, but keep in mind that it is a 25-minute bus ride to the city center. For tourists like myself who spend most of the day exploring and only need a place to rest and refuel, this hotel is reasonably priced and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. They even sell tickets for the hop-on/hop-off bus, making sightseeing a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Barcelona.

From check-in to check-out, the staff was wonderfully accommodating especially one gentleman! He made sure we got a taxi for a very early flight (when the shuttle wasn't running). They also helped me get some more practice in my Spanish!. The rooms were extremely neat and comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend this place!

This place was very convenient for our 4-night stay in Barcelona after our cruise, as we had onward flights to Granada and then back home. The Mercabarna metro station was close by, and the metro system is quite straightforward to use. The hotel's amenities were modern and the hot water pressure and room lighting were good. Noise levels weren't a problem and while the rooms were a bit cramped in terms of storage, the restaurant and café helped us out. The shuttle to the airport was reliable, although getting to the hotel from the airport was a bit tricky as the cab driver couldn't find it - it's on the same street as the metro station, so make sure you know that before you book. All in all, I'd definitely consider returning if I needed to catch an early flight out of Barcelona.

This unexpected oasis of calm and rest truly made our long day of international travel a pleasant one. After missing our connecting flight, we found an affordable hotel nearby the airport online that we could book. From the phone call to the lovely dinner to our early departure, the staff was helpful, kind, and friendly. Upon entering our room, we were overwhelmed by the spa-like decor and immaculate cleanliness of the entire hotel. The two gentlemen at the front desk were especially accommodating; we don’t recall the name of the one who checked us in, but he kindly offered us suggestions for getting back to the airport in the morning. Even more remarkable was the 4am coffee we were presented with from Manuel, who escorted us to our taxi and helped with our luggage. Where we had expected the worst, this hotel provided us with great food, drinks, and rest, resulting in us arriving at our destination energised and ready for our long-planned vacation. We thank the hotel staff wholeheartedly.

I was so incredibly impressed by the hospitality of this hotel! Not only was the room spotless and well-equipped, but the guy at the reception desk, Manuel, really made our stay special. We had been left stranded at the airport at 4am due to an unexpected layover and our Airbnb had cancelled, leaving us exhausted and upset. We came across this place by chance and Manuel instantly put our minds at ease that everything would be alright. It's wonderful to know you can count on somebody in times like this. Every aspect of our stay was perfect and the service exemplary. Highly recommended!
