As the name indicates the Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza is located on the most famous square in Barcelona : the Plaza Catalunya. On top of Las Ramblas is difficult to be more at the center of the city and so close to ereas to visit in the city: L'Eixample, the Gothic Quarter, the Ciudad Vella and a little farther El Born.
Concretely this means that you can visit by walking the Boqueria Market, the Liceu, "El Cortes Ingles" the most famous of the great Spanish stores, the Palau de la Música - the Palace of Catalan Music, The Cathedral to only mention the most emblematic places of Barcelona next to this hotel.The H10 hotel group is known for the quality of its 12 hotels in Barcelona.Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza is at the image of this group, modern and contemporary.. In a building fully renovated, 46 rooms that seems to haveeach its own personality. We also liked the restaurant « 1892 », the « bar library » for relaxation and the terrace called "the Garden" decorated with greenery and wood, so cool that many 4 star hotels should visit it.Peace and pleasure in the city center. Great stay! The hotel is in a grate loacation, just abov the meto ? The noize from the passin train wasnt to bad tho, sounded like a beat droppin from a loud stereao ? I got a room with a vieuw of Las Rammlass ? I loved bein abl to opan the terrase door and enjoy the nite ? Room servis was gr8 (I used it onse) and the breakfast had lots of choises ? And the mini bar had plent of optoins too ?
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was top-notch and the room was fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious and I especially enjoyed the beautiful atrium. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for shopping and dining, and it's also conveniently close to the airport and port. Taxis were readily available whenever we needed them. This was my second visit this year and I'm already looking forward to returning again soon.

Would give the establishment 3.5 stars if I could. I was in two different rooms during my stay in Barcelona. Location is great but it does not compensate for the small size of the rooms. From my experience I cannot say it is a great value and I would not stay here again. Pros: - Right in the heart of the city, a few steps away from the Plaza Catalunya - Staff at reception and in the dining areas were very friendly - Breakfast room offers a great selection of food with omelets made to order - Second floor lounge and terrace are both wonderful - Afternoon refreshments such as cava and juice can be found in the reception area - Common area also offers coffee and pastries every afternoon Cons - Tiny rooms, the superior double didn't even have enough space for a chair and the regular double barely fit the bed with zero view - Limited choices of English speaking TV programs - Inadequate shower and long wait for the water to get hot - Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors…. not ideal!
At this chic hotel, the decor was luxurious, but our room with a view was unfortunately too tiny. We also had trouble with the coffee machine, which was the same one we have at home but was not operating properly. The reception staff were not very accommodating either. It wasn't terrible by any means, but we would not choose to stay here again.
Stayed 1 night before a cruise. Super easy to get to from the airport and very central. Pleasant staff, however rooms dark with no natural light. Slow breakfast where staff spoke no English, and items were whipped away before 10.30am. Biggest frustration was when music in our room at 7.45pm prompted 3 separate demands in 10 minutes to be quiet. Unreasonable. We said it was unacceptable and were told the request had come from a 'very important person', making us feel second rate. Good location but wouldn’t return.
