As the name indicates the Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza is located on the most famous square in Barcelona : the Plaza Catalunya. On top of Las Ramblas is difficult to be more at the center of the city and so close to ereas to visit in the city: L'Eixample, the Gothic Quarter, the Ciudad Vella and a little farther El Born.
Concretely this means that you can visit by walking the Boqueria Market, the Liceu, "El Cortes Ingles" the most famous of the great Spanish stores, the Palau de la Música - the Palace of Catalan Music, The Cathedral to only mention the most emblematic places of Barcelona next to this hotel.The H10 hotel group is known for the quality of its 12 hotels in Barcelona.Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza is at the image of this group, modern and contemporary.. In a building fully renovated, 46 rooms that seems to haveeach its own personality. We also liked the restaurant « 1892 », the « bar library » for relaxation and the terrace called "the Garden" decorated with greenery and wood, so cool that many 4 star hotels should visit it.Peace and pleasure in the city center. This hotel had the perfect location for a variety of activities. Additionally, it had great access to transportation that allowed us to explore the wonderful city of Barcelona. During our three-night stay, the amenities were modern and comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of options. Plus, there was a small outdoor area which was perfect for unwinding after a long day.
On the recommendation of friends, we spent four days in the Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza. The staff were amazingly kind and welcoming from the moment we entered the hotel till the day we left. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast buffet was replete with fresh ingredients. Even when we arrived late, they continued to replenish the buffet. Its location on the Place de la Catalunya made it easy to take the Aerobus from the airport and also let us catch the HOHO buses for sightseeing right outside the hotel.
We spent two nights in this wonderful accommodation before taking a cruise. We are a family of four and opted for the two-bedroom duplex apartment for our stay. We could not be happier with the location – right near the top of Las Ramblas, close to practically everything you might need. The property itself was small but had a stylish, modern design. The reception team were highly friendly and accommodating. The duplex apartment was excellently equipped with a master bedroom, twin bedroom, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen. All of which were decorated in an authentic Spanish style and very spacious. The only slight negative with the room was that the ceiling was a bit low in the twin room, resulting in our son having to duck his head, but it still sufficed. We also signed up to the hotel loyalty programme which earned us a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with plentiful buffet options plus cooked-to-order dishes. All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and room, as the air conditioning and washing machine were also extremely useful.
This hotel is quite small but has a great location. Unfortunately, the reception staff don't always provide attentive service and can be quite unfriendly. The cost is not worth the service but the location makes up for it. However, I must commend Persela at reception; they were wonderful.
We had a fantastic week staying at a boutique hotel in Barcelona. Located in a central area close to Department Stores, Restaurants and the Metro, it was incredibly clean and tidy. Breakfast offered a wide selection of healthy food, and the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful - a true standout feature of the hotel. We would highly recommend it!
