As the name indicates the Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza is located on the most famous square in Barcelona : the Plaza Catalunya. On top of Las Ramblas is difficult to be more at the center of the city and so close to ereas to visit in the city: L'Eixample, the Gothic Quarter, the Ciudad Vella and a little farther El Born.

This hotel is in the perfect spot, with a taxi rank right outside, hop on hop off busses nearby, and a metro station in the vicinity. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and the hotel was of a very high standard. We would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.
I highly advise avoiding room 101, due to its close proximity to a staff courtyard in operation from 6.15 to 12.30am every day. The constant noise of wheeling trolleys and emptying trash was very disruptive and each time we complained it seemed to worsen. The room itself was tiny and dull, but the staff, especially Roger at reception, were friendly. The location of the hotel was great; it was near tour buses, subways and a large department store. Barcelona was a beautiful city and I booked a day trip to the Montserrat Monestry which was stunningly set in the mountains. I also booked tickets to the Sagrada Familia, but if you visit by tour bus, allow an hour to arrive or you won't be let in - I learned this the hard way. I recommend staying 6 days to get the full experience.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The employees were extremely kind and accommodating. Our room featured a beautiful outdoor area, which was perfect for unwinding in the evening. The breakfast options were incredible and they had little touches that really impressed us, like a complimentary bottle of Cava at check-in, an iron and board in the room, blackout curtains, and an unsolicited birthday surprise! The location was unbeatable.
My recent stay at the Boutique Hotel H10 Catalunya Plaza in Barcelona was an absolute delight! The incredible accommodation is located in a prime spot, with friendly staff that are more than willing to go the extra mile. When I arrived, I found the room to be incredibly clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Cristina, who was working reception, was wonderfully helpful and provided me with lots of useful information. Furthermore, I found the variety of breakfast options to be extensive, and the food itself was absolutely delicious!
I was thrilled with my two-night stay at this lovely boutique hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - when I let them know the TV in our room wasn't working, someone from the front desk came up straight away to see if he could fix it. Rather than giving us another room while the issue was being sorted, we opted to stay put and when we returned the following day, everything was working as it should. One of the nice touches was the free wine, champagne and chocolates at reception, plus the wonderful toiletries provided in our bathroom. I only wish breakfast was included or a bit cheaper, but aside from that my experience was nothing short of perfect given the price. I'll definitely be staying at a H10 hotel next time I'm in Barcelona.
