A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

This hotel is amazing! It's located in a great spot, the rooms are clean, and the rooftop pool is the perfect way to cool off after a hectic day. The staff are so friendly and helpful - we lucked out to meet Tino, who was taking care of us by the pool. He made tasty drinks and the service was great and friendly. We'd definitely stay here again.
If you're not a heavy sleeper it can be a bit annoying.
Everything was excellent apart from the fact that there were no slippers in the room, and we only got fresh water in glass bottles on the first day. If you're facing the back yard, the windows don't have nets, which means bugs and birds can fly in. If you're not a deep sleeper this may be an irritation.
Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable ?. I had a great view of the city from my window ? and the location was perfect as well - I was able to walk to all the places I wanted to visit. Highly recommend ?! ? ? ? ? ?
I had a great stay in the hotel right in the middle of the old town. It was walking distance to the cathedral and many restaurants, as well as the main square. There was also an amazing roof top bar with delicious cocktails made by Tino. I would definitely encourage anyone looking for a place to stay to consider this option as it gave me a truly five star experience.
My wife and I spent four days at this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer if there was space. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location was perfect. The only downside was the slow wifi connection.
