Catalonia Catedral

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel. First, the location is great, right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. There were tons of nearby restaurants and shops, and it was a short walk from the Cathedral and Las Ramblas. The rooms were lovely, kept clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big, with plenty of wardrobe space for our clothes. We highly recommend the breakfast - there was something for everybody, from eggs and waffles to sausages and bacon, cheese, cereal, fruit and pastries. The coffee machine made fantastic coffee too. The hotel staff were also great - friendly and accommodating. All in all we had a perfect stay. Barcelona is a beautiful city with amazing food and sights, and we'd certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with excellent service. Our waiter Fabrizzio was very knowledgeable about all the options on the menu and recommended some delicious local dishes. Everything we had was delicious - the Galicia octopus was particularly tender, and the beef paella was delicious. All the food was freshly prepared and the portions were generous. Art was also brilliant, providing us with a top-notch service. Highly recommended - we've been here three times now!

I can't say enough about Catalonia Catedral. From the delightful staff to the chic decor, the hotel exudes warmth and charm. Plus the location couldn't be better - steps from the most vibrant district in Barcelona. The eco-friendly toiletries were a nice touch - a reminder that the hotel takes care of its guests. One night was not enough - I had to book a return trip just to get more of this magical city. Definitely recommend this establishment!

I had the worst experience at Catalonia Catedral. When trying to check in, I found out they had double booked my room and were refusing to cancel the second booking. That was despite only discovering their mistake a minute earlier! The front desk clerk said she understood the problem and sympathised but couldn't do anything as the system wouldn't allow it. The manager said the same the next day, and then refused to answer my emails. This is a shocking way to behave and I'd strongly advise against choosing them as your host. They are completely unethical and take advantage of their guests. Don't give them your hard earned money - there are much better places to stay in Barcelona!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Its perfect location in Barcelona's Gothic quarter, just a few steps from the cathedral, was certainly a highlight. Not only were the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, they even surprised us with a bottle Cava in our room as a surprise celebration of my wife's birthday - such a nice gesture! The facilities were extremely clean, and the food and drink options reasonably priced. The pool area was a great place to relax and even though the pool was a bit chilly, it was an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. We had a wonderful stay at Catalonia Catedral and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
