A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival at this hotel. Art, a worker at the pool top bar, gave us some great advice on where to find good restaurants and attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfy, with soft mattresses and pillows giving us a great night's sleep. The reception team were more than helpful and made our stay stress-free, booking us trips and taxis when needed. This place is well-located and made us feel safe. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Barcelona.
We had a great experience staying at this hotel! It's located in a great spot, giving us easy access to all the attractions in the city. The staff here were extremely helpful and considerate, and they made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The room was spotless, with a convenient coffee machine and a fantastic shower. We would certainly come back here and recommend it to others.
This hotel provides a great experience! Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, quiet rooms, and a good, clean breakfast buffet are offered. Overall, my stay here was very pleasant. If you're traveling with light luggage, I recommend using the taxi stop at the square near the hotel, and walking to and from the hotel.
Our room was comfy and very clean. ALL public areas were immaculate at all times. The rooftop terrace was a great place to lounge & relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious!
It was a pleasure to stay at the Catalonia Catedral! We loved our 5 night stay and the staff made it truly memorable. Everyone was so warm, friendly and helpful - special thanks to RJ, Tino, John, Fabrizio, David, Alejandro and all the others! The room was comfortable and spotless. We also liked the rooftop terrace which was the perfect place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The breakfast was always delicious with plenty of fresh options. All in all, this was an excellent hotel and we have wonderful memories of our time there.
I had a wonderful stay at the Catalonia Catedral. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the old city. The staff were incredible, especially Alex, David and Carla who were all so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to explore Barcelona. Plus, the fact that you can walk out of the hotel straight into all the delightful shops and restaurants made it even more special. A truly fabulous experience!
