A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

My family and I traveled to Barcelona before embarking on a cruise and had the pleasure of staying at an amazing hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the food was excellent! Additionally, the staff were simply incredible. Art and Max were particularly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They conversed with us and fulfilled our requests with efficiency. We are writing to express our gratitude for these two employees, who made us feel right at home.
Stayed here for my 40th and the location was perfect for exploring Barcelona. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was really stylish and well kept. The rooms were cleaned every day and all the free amenities were nice. There was a roof top terrace and pool, though a bit chilly in April, I'm sure it would be great in the summer. Didn't stay in to dine, there were so many great places to eat and drink. Definitely be returning if I visit Barcelona again.
Staying with a friend at this hotel in Barcelona was an amazing experience! The location was unbeatable - situated close to all the attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with directions, recommendations for restaurants and even free coffee when our coffee maker wasn't working. Despite being located close to the bar, we didn't experience any noise disturbances. ???? Truly amazing - would definitely recommend to friends. ?❤️
We had one of the best hotel experiences ever! The rooms were huge and the views were wonderful. Breakfast was superb and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They had great English-speaking skills, which was really appreciated. The rooftop pool was a really nice touch, and they even went the extra mile and delivered cocktails to us there! It was close to transportation and a short walk to Las Ramblas. To top it off, they even sent a bottle of champagne to the room to celebrate a birthday. We honestly can't think of anything that wasn't perfect!
Returned for a wonderful dinner tonight. We divided a large, crisp salad with duck. Paella with lobster and the delicate sole meuniere were enjoyed. Our waiter Tino was very friendly, considerate, and immensely helpful deboning the sole. Delicious food and excellent service. Cannot be more recommended!
