A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel during my stay in Barcelona and would definitely return, in fact, I have another reservation for the end of our trip. The customer service was exceptional and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. However, my only suggestion would be to have a CNN channel for American travelers.
We were absolutely delighted with our choice of accommodation in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Our local tour guide also commended the location, affirming our decision. The quintessential Barcelona experience was at our fingertips with convenient access to landmarks, shops, La Ramblas, and delightful dining options. Our pre-cruise stay of three days was made even more enjoyable by the warmth and assistance of Honey and the rest of the front desk team. Despite a minor issue during check-in for our group of eight, Honey graciously arranged for the affected couple to stay at a sister hotel. The considerate staff also stored our luggage after our cruise, accommodating our late flight. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return, thanks to their exceptional service.

I would give this hotel 10/10! The staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating; our check-in was smooth and Laura was especially helpful in providing information about the gluten free breakfast, which was tasty and varied. The room was great - a good size double with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom with a shower over the bath. There were plenty of amenities too, from an iron and ironing board, to a hair dryer, to a coffee machine and kettle - perfect for a cuppa in the room. The minibar was stocked, although we didn't use it. The rooftop pool bar and pool were a godsend after a long day of sightseeing, and the barman was a star - Gino, if we're guessing correctly - as he made the best Sangria Catalana we've ever tasted! The hotel's location couldn't be better, and we would absolutely stay here every time! Everyone is doing a phenomenal job!
This accommodation is in a fantastic spot right beside the Cathedral, so the views are amazing. We were delighted with Honey's help at reception; she was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were neat and well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. There was also a pool and bar to be enjoyed on the rooftop - a lovely bonus.
