A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

Just returned from our stay in Barcelona and would highly recommend the hotel we chose. The location was perfect for exploring the city, centrally located and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was spacious and well-maintained. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful, and their fluency in English was a plus. The rooftop pool was a great spot to relax and catch some rays. We easily took the aerobus from the airport and got off at Pl. Catalunya, a short 5-minute walk to the hotel. Taxis were also readily available and affordable for getting around the city. We even had a delightful dinner at the hotel with complimentary starters. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. The only slight downside was the noise on the second floor, possibly due to its proximity to the kitchen and restaurant.
My recent experience at a hotel in Barcelona left much to be desired. The level of cleanliness was below standards and, to make matters worse, my headphones were stolen by a member of the housekeeping staff. It was disheartening to not even be able to trust the very people who are meant to ensure a comfortable stay. The management's response to my complaint was lackluster, with no satisfactory resolution or apology. After showing them the location of my missing AirPods on my phone, they miraculously found them a few hours later, claiming they had been in the laundry. However, I had personally placed them in the front pocket of my luggage. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I will not be returning to this establishment. I strongly recommend others to find a more reputable and trustworthy place to stay. #DisappointingStay #LackOfTrust.
I had an amazing time at the ? Catalonia Catedral ? Hotel in Barcelona! The customer service was top-notch and the location in the old town was perfect for exploring local restaurants and ? cathedrals. But my favorite part was definitely the rooftop terrace ? with the ? friendly and talented barman Tino! The rooms were meticulously clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I'm already planning my next trip to Barcelona and I will definitely be staying at this hotel again ?.
We recently stayed for four nights at a hotel in Barcelona and were delighted with our experience. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several popular tourist attractions. We were greeted by incredibly friendly hotel staff who made us feel right at home. A standout was our conversations with a staff member named Tino at the bar by the pool. Not only was he kind and welcoming, but he also impressed us with his extensive knowledge and professionalism.
This accommodation was a fantastic choice for our stay! We were pleased to find numerous attractions within walking distance and the Metro was easily accessible as well. Despite its central location, we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was at night. While it may be on the pricier side, we truly felt that it was worth the cost.
