A just renovated modernist building, Catalonia Catedral Hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona (Barri Gotic). The hotel is by the Cathedral, Plaça Sant Jaume and the unavoidable shopping street of Portal de l’Àngel. After a day of shopping or cultural visits you will need nothing else that your new room with big shower. You can also enjoy a drink in the lobby bar or the international cuisine in the hotel restaurant even though we recommend other restaurants in Barcelona.

The location of this hotel was excellent, situated in the heart of the Gothic quarter. There were plenty of options for shopping and dining nearby, and many of the city's sights were within walking distance. Our room was lovely and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Special shoutout to Ferran for taking such great care of us! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning before heading out for the day, and the food was both delicious and convenient. On our last night, we dined at the hotel's restaurant in order to make it to our Flamenco Opera performance on time. The food and service were excellent. It was our first time in Barcelona and we absolutely loved it. We can't wait to come back!
We had an amazing time at Catalonia! ? Our previous accomodations were not working out and we needed a room on the fly. ? They booked us immediately. When we got to the location, it turned out they had oversold the rooms. ? But, they saved the day by hooking us up with an upgraded room at a sister hotel just around the corner. The rooms were small, but still well-maintained and spotless. Overall, ? we had a fantastic experience at the hotel!
I had a fantastic experience during my recent stay in Barcelona. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and the staff were extremely helpful in providing recommendations for nearby restaurants. Each place we dined at was fantastic and we even enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel with plenty of fresh options to choose from. The made-to-order omelettes were a personal favorite. My room was always kept clean and quiet, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. From the friendly and energetic guest services attendant, Davide, to the pleasant housekeeper who always greeted me with a smile, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast servers, Yassel and Manuel, were also dedicated to making our meal even more enjoyable. The concierge, David, was incredibly helpful in providing recommendations for restaurants and arranging museum tickets. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its unbeatable location and outstanding staff.

The accommodations had an unbeatable location and the rooms were generously spacious and cozy. Request room 403 for an extra special experience and take advantage of the private seating area near the pool deck. Our stay was absolutely incredible and the team members were extremely hospitable and amiable. The majority of attractions were within walking distance, making it the perfect spot to base our travels from.
