We heard complaints that the rooms were too small, but our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet did not disappoint - it was freshly prepared and the food selection was great. A particular highlight was the chorizo. The croissants were buttery and the omelets and quiche were delicious. The cut fruit was also perfect! There is also a restaurant called Pelai nearby that provides five-star tapas, entrees, and service. Everything was in close walking distance, from Barri Gotic to Las Ramblas and even the Maritime Museum, which was only 0.8 miles away. We had a wonderful stay.
We decided to stay in this hotel due to its high standards, however our expectations were not met. The welcome we received was unsatisfactory and we didn't receive the necessary information. We were not informed that the spa was not functioning and our room wasn't ready until 5 pm - even despite the fact that we had children with us. Taking all this into consideration, we believe the price does not reflect a 4-star quality.
The lady and the manager of the Catalonia Ramblas 4* Sup Hotel in Barcelona are extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. Not only do they fail to address any issues that arise, they also have a tendency to be quite rude and insulting. I was astonished to find out the extent to which they are classist and the way they would shout at the reception – it was enough to make me never want to go back.
We stayed at the Catalonia Ramblas 4* Sup this April and we were completely satisfied with our experience. The location was great for exploring. We had a family room which was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was always very delicious - there was a great selection and the buffet was constantly being refilled. The children especially loved the pancake machine and freshly squeezed orange juice! We spent most mornings exploring the city and most afternoons relaxing by the pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Barcelona!

The Catalonia Ramblas 4* Sup was a great choice on our trip to Barcelona. It had a perfect location, being close to the main attractions of the city. The interior was modern and beautiful, with all the comfort that one needs. The check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious and we felt like being in an oasis of peace. The restaurant and bar were also great and provided great service. During our stay, we had access to all the necessary services, which made our experience very pleasant. All in all, we had a wonderful stay in this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality experience in Barcelona.
