The staff at this hotel were simply amazing. Julio and Maria at the front desk made our stay so pleasant - from early check-in to the clean room and great service - it was all we needed for a 24-hour stay. If you're with more that three people, taking a cab is a great option since the single ticket is only 2.40 Euros. Plus, it's in a great location - close to the beach, Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Highly recommended!
This comfortable and convenient hotel sits at the intersection of the Rambla a del Poblenou and Avenue Diagonal. The Rambla is a scenic 10 block boulevard with limited traffic that leads all the way to the sea. It’s full of shops, restaurants, and people of all ages taking in the scenery. Walking south from the hotel along Avenue Diagonal, one finds a huge shopping center with a large food court. The hotel itself was highly accommodating with excellent food service. Transportation links are also close by for convenient access to other parts of Barcelona.
We had an unfortunate experience when we arrived. For the €282 we paid for one night of accommodation, we got a room that was right in front of the elevator and felt like a sauna. It took us almost two hours to fall asleep because of all the noise from the elevator. When we voiced our concerns at check-out, we didn't receive any form of compensation. We definitely did not get the standard we were expecting from a hotel of its caliber and do not recommend it for a stay in Barcelona.
We had a great 50th anniversary visit. It’s a nice property in a great location. The neighborhood was filled with amicable locals and lots of family-style restaurants. The hotel manager sent us a nice complimentary bottle of bubbly and fruit with chocolates. The hotel staff was international and extremely friendly. It does not have a pool or sauna, but it does have an exercise room. Our room didn’t have a bath tub, but it had a great shower. The views were awesome including nearby Sagrada Família. We’ll definitely go back.
We did a quick stopover at this stylish and sparkling clean hotel after finishing our cruise. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, we had a pleasant stay. The location couldn't be better—it's close to the Avenida Diagonal and the start of the Rambla del Poblenou, which is packed with mouthwatering restaurants and bars. Plus, it's only a 15-minute walk away from the beach. The nearby Glories Mall has lots of eateries, and the iconic Torre Glories building is a sight to behold. Overall, this hotel is an ideal option if you're looking for good value for money. It's great for pre- or post-cruise stays!
