This accommodation was simply wonderful! The location was unbeatable, close to many attractions, and the rooms and amenities were spotless. The staff were incredibly helpful, and while the pool was a bit tiny, it was nonetheless pleasant. We'll definitely be staying here when we next visit Barcelona!

My wife and I wanted to come back to the 4* hotel we had visited years ago with our children this summer. The space had been stylishly renovated since our last visit, yet it had kept the same calming atmosphere complete with African art and signature design elements from the Derby Hotels. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and we especially enjoyed the delicious buffet and a la carte breakfast, the peaceful garden during hot days and the pool. The hotel staff were all extremely kind, especially the helpful men in the lobby, the hardworking chambermaid and the polite waitresses in the garden bar and dining room. While not suitable for everyone, this hotel was ideal for us because it was a tranquil location away from the busier districts and also located in our preferred district, Eixample, with plenty of great local restaurants. We're already thinking of booking another stay to explore more of Barcelona and look forward to coming back soon! ?….

I had the pleasure to spend a few days at this gorgeous Preferred Hotels & Resorts member in Barcelona. Their staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, making my stay a real pleasure. The hotel is situated in a terrific spot, very near the city centre and close to some great local eateries. I wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time I'm in town!

My fiancé and I were looking forward to our visit to Spain, and especially Barcelona. When we arrived, the hotel's lobby appeared clean and inviting. However, when we checked in, the room rates were significantly different from what we had been told. We were directed to our room without assistance and immediately noticed a hot, musty odor. I have dust and mold allergies, and the smell made me very unwell. We complained to the front desk and they sent a technician to fix the air conditioning, but it only made a small difference. The pool was dirty and shared with other buildings, the right elevator was always out of service, walls and floors were paper thin, and we could hear every sneeze from the room next door. Despite the hotel being "smoke-free", the hallways and our room still smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were offered chocolates by the concierge, but this was not enough to make up for the terrible experience. The only plus was that the hotel was well-located, but with so many other hotels in the area, we definitely do not recommend the place. Do not be fooled by the 4-star rating; this hotel is not worth your money!

We had a wonderful stay in one of the apartment suites. The suite was spacious and had a full kitchen, a sitting area, a walk-in closet, a sauna, and a large bathroom. The location and the neighborhood were great. In addition, there was a fabulous courtyard with a pool and numerous spots to sit down. The staff were friendly and helpful.
