All in all we had a wonderful time in Hotel Balmes, the location is perfect and the rooms are quite nice. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist and provide great tips. The restaurant served delicious food and the bar had some great bargains. The hotel is kept clean with daily housekeeping and the added indoor pool was perfect for a refreshing splash. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great city break.
I had an amazing time at Hotel Balmes, the staff were incredible and very accommodating. Every request was met with a friendly smile and every room was very well kept. The amenities were a plus, especially being able to enjoy the pool, sauna and spa facilities! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Barcelona.
The stay at Hotel Balmes was far from satisfactory. The location is convenient, but the service by guests and personnel was anything but amicable. From the moment we arrived, other visitors were loud and unruly, slamming doors and speaking in a boisterous manner in the hallways. Our experience with the doorman was also rather unpleasant, as he accused us of leaving without paying when all we were doing was loading our bags into the car. Needless to say, this hotel did not leave a good impression and we will not be returning. 2.5/5.
This hotel was just dreamy! The location couldn't be any better with everything you'd need just minutes away. The modern interior was stunning and the reception staff were so welcoming. The room was optimal for relaxation, with the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever experienced. Not to mention the aircon was just perfect, and the bathroom was a great size with an amazing shower. Definitely the highlight was the pool, not a lot of hotels have such an incredible amenity in this area. I highly recommend Hotel Balmes, it's a total dream!
I had a Deluxe room at Hotel Balmes and it was very quiet and clean. The bed and mattress were also excellent - it was extremely comfortable. The coffee served at breakfast was also delicious and seemed to be freshly roasted. The breakfast was nice too. But the best part were the staff - they were extraordinarily kind and helpful! Even when I requested a service, they responded immediately. I had a great five days here and I'll definitely be back! Thanks again to the staff at Hotel Balmes - Merry Christmas!
