This hotel was in an ideal spot, with views of the Sagrada Familia! It was incredibly clean and so charming! The staff was superb - highly recommendable! We were a family of five (including two friends) and stayed in a family suite - and it was great! Absolutely loved it.
We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and had a pleasant experience, so we decided to book again. To our disappointment, the check-in was handled by an immature staff member who seemed to be confused. When asked about the Flamenco show their email had recommended, we were given information to book. We were then told that there would be taxis outside the show to get back to the hotel but, unfortunately, this was not the case. After the show, the area was quite shady and unsafe, and the only available taxis were hard to come by. My brother-in-law even had his watch stolen right off his wrist. Other guests returning to the hotel were complaining about various crimes such as car windows being broken. Upon discussing this with the hotel manager the next day, we found out that there had been an attack on another guest by 5 men to get his watch. There was no warning of this from the hotel staff prior to us leaving, and it was especially concerning for us as we had two small children with us. The rooms were not only moldy and infested with fleas, but also had a musky odor and squeaky beds. All in all, this aged hotel put the safety of its guests at risk and is certainly not worth considering for a stay.
An absolutely luxurious experience! From the service quality to the room to the location, everything was top-notch. We stayed for close to a week and wished we could have stayed longer. We find ourselves already longing to come back. If you're considering it, go for the junior suite - the extra space is well worth the reasonable price.
We had a great stay at a hotel in Barcelona for five days! The staff were incredibly friendly, the service was excellent and the location was perfect. We would definitely recommend it to everyone. Sedique Popal.
This is a first class hotel that lives up to its reputation in all areas. Starting with the staff, the service is excellent and always respectful, and they are always eager to help. The beds are comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep each time. The rooftop bar is a real highlight, with great service and an amazing view. I can't recommend this place enough for your stay in Barcelona.
