This hotel was pleasant overall, but there was a lot of construction outside which was a bit of a nuisance. The immediate area was lacking in dining options since most restaurants and businesses were closed in a three block radius, and this made it difficult to find a good spot for lunch or dinner. Additionally, the street and nearby recycling area had a strong cigarette smoke smell, which was unpleasant.
I had a great stay at this hotel in Barcelona. Their cleaning crew did a great job and were conscious of my privacy. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend.
We stayed at this hotel for our recent visit to Barcelona and were very pleased. It's a bit of a trek to the tourist attractions, but it's no problem if you enjoy walking. The staff here are so friendly and always willing to answer any queries. The cleaners went above and beyond when they folded my son's clothes he'd left on the bed in his room - what a considerate touch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this ??????? hotel. The housekeeping staff were accommodating and really worked hard to make our stay comfortable. Special mention to Elsa at reception who was incredibly helpful and friendly! It was an all-round fantastic experience and I'll definitely be coming back soon. ??
We had an amazing stay at the Hotel Derby in Barcelona. We were extremely impressed by the comfort of the beds and the peacefulness of our room. The small pool and terrace in the hotel and the one in the neighbouring hotel were an extra delight. Although the hotel was a bit away from the city center, the convenient bus and metro links more than made up for that.
