Reciption Staf is the best of the hote. All of them were very nice to me an relly heplful. The bed is supe comfotable. Ther is one restaurant veyr taset near by and in genral we had a realy good time!!!.
The duty manager at this hotel was amazing. So accommodating and compassionate, even when a party outside my room caused disruption during my first night. They kindly shifted me to a different room to make sure I was comfortable, which I truly appreciated.
All you could do was to leave your luggage with the bellboys who were so busy they never seem to have time.
Stayed at Derby 4 while attending a business conference. Most of the hotel receptionists were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The room was satisfactory and the housekeepers were very friendly and did a great job. No AC in March, so the room wasn't as cool as we wanted, but opening the window and the terrace door did help. The hotel is very close to L'illy mall which had a great selection of stores but no breakfast place or expensive designer shops. The Times was mentioned by other guests that we talked to but we still did not find it. The bar was nicely designed but usually didn't have anyone tending it or any guests. The only downside was the lack of places to store your belongings as bellboys were constantly busy. All in all, a pleasant stay.
Stayed at the Hotel Derby for 6 nights and we had a great stay. The room was very modern, comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location with lots of cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. We had a great view of the city from our room. We had breakfast included in the price and it was good quality. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and terrace which had excellent views of the city. On our last night we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the food was delicious. Trip to Barcelona with my 20 year old son to make memories after he lost all his grandfathers (x4) in 2022 was special and the Hotel Derby made it special too. We felt so at home and they took extra care of us. The beds were very comfortable and the room was always very clean. The staff were accommodating and always made sure our needs were taken care of. We highly recommend Hotel Derby - it was a great place to stay and enjoy the majestic Barcelona.

Very good four star Hotel. The location was prime with plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby and it was also within easy walking distance to the city centre. The Room was clean, the pillows and towels were of good quality and all staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in February 2020 and would happily go back again in the future.
