In Barca on business, this hotel was block booked by our company. Location was quite central, but the reception staff had an unwelcoming attitude. The rooms were very basic, no tea/coffee facilities or english channels - not even BBC world or CNN. Breakfast was far from impressive - very limited options, the only highlight was the friendly and helpful staff. All in all, I would not stay here again.
The hotel Derby was a low-cost budget hotel, but I didn't like my experience very much. The room was dusty, and the ventilation and humidity in the room was terrible. The bathroom was not well stocked with toiletries, and when the soap ran out there was no new one provided. Additionally, there was no kettle in the room, which is a basic necessity in my home country. On the plus side, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a disappointing stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I've stayed at the Hotel Derby several times now and have always been impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are bright and modern, and the location is great! The beds are comfortable and the price is excellent for what you get. My only complaint this time was that the breakfast was uninspiring, with the scrambled eggs being particularly unappetizing. But, fortunately, there is an amazing restaurant directly across the street which offers a delicious dinner. Hotel Derby is a great choice and I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.
I stayed at Hotel Derby and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers great value for the price and the staff were friendly and accommodating at check-in. The room was spotlessly clean and the hotel is located in a safe and pleasant area. Although it's a bit far from the main attractions, you can easily take a taxi there or even go for a nice evening walk. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend it.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Derby during a four night trip to Barcelona. The location was perfect as it was conveniently located near the Nou Camp, where I watched a highly-anticipated Barcelona match. The hotel room was very spacious and exceeded my expectations in terms of amenities. Additionally, there was a fantastic restaurant just around the corner called L'Arrosseria Xàtiva - if you're in the area, I highly recommend you check it out! All in all, I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Derby and would return again in a heartbeat if I'm ever back in the city.
