Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux

We had a wonderful stay.

We chose Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux because of its fantastic character and location. We were astounded by the top-tier service we received. Everyone we encountered were kind, attentive and incredibly professional. The hotel manager was incredibly nice, as were the staff and bartenders. Our absolute favorite was Thomas, the hotel concierge/doorman/porter/ambassador extraordinaire. He was always cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable, never failing to make us feel welcome. We also have to give a special mention to Giovanni, who looked after us each morning at breakfast with his friendly and outgoing personality. He was a true gem. Our stay in this incredible hotel was unforgettable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

But after a few nights, the bedding had a musty smell.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Neri. The staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and charming. They made sure our stay was a memorable one. We asked to visit parts of Barcelona that regular tourists don't usually go to, and they gave us excellent advice and recommendations. From restaurants to ticketing for various attractions, their assistance was impeccable. We were given a Junior Suite on the first floor (room 107) which was spacious and elegant, though quite dark - even on a bright day. The bedding was comfortable and the room was lovely, but it developed a musty smell after a few nights. We suggest that the hotel adds additional lamps to make it brighter. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Neri - Relais & Chateaux! The place is just stunning. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the service throughout our stay was just outstanding! The rooms were comfortable and exuded luxury. The food was excellent too, with a wide selection of local wine and tasty cuisine. The roof terrace was a special highlight, offering breathtaking views of the city. Special mention to Thomas for always going the extra mile! We had an unforgettable experience and can't wait to visit again - highly recommended.

The stylish bedrooms are all individually decorated and offer beautiful views of the cathedral. The beds are comfortable and the room was extremely clean. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of foods. The location is also great in the centre of the gothic quarter. I had a truly wonderful stay here and I would highly recommend Hotel Neri - Relais & Chateaux to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Barcelona. The stunning architecture, friendly staff and great location makes it a top choice.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Neri recently and it was certainly one for the books. This incredible hotel is a stones throw away from the breathtaking Cathedral of Barcelona and the famous Gothic Quarter. Immediately upon entering I was awestruck by its character and history. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Thomas was such a big help in making sure we could get around town with ease - he's a gem! We also had the pleasure of sipping a cold vermouth or cava at the bar before indulging in the fantastic food at the restaurant inside or outside in the Plaza de San Felipe Neri. We were lucky enough to experience the Saint Eulalia celebration while there with the Parade of Giants and ‘human towers’ happening right around the corner. We had such a memorable and fantastic stay. The rooms were so comfortable and luxurious and the beds had such nice linens. I'd highly recommend Hotel Neri and will most certainly be coming back again!
