Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux

I stayed for a short break at the Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux with my family of six and I can honestly say that it is an outstanding hotel! The luxurious rooms, with amazing bedding and top-notch amenities, create a serene and classy atmosphere. The lobby is even more stunning, with the soothing sound of running water. But what truly sets it apart is the remarkable staff that make guests feel right at home. Thomas welcomed us with great enthusiasm and provided valuable tips about the city. Giovanni and Marina made sure that our breakfasts exceeded our expectations. The hospitality is definitely unmatched and far superior to most ultra-luxe resorts in Asia. On top of that, the stay was truly incredible and I highly recommend it.

We recently had a fantastic 4 day visit at the Neri in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and couldn't have been more impressed. Every member of the staff is professional, kind and helpful and the rooms couldn't have been more comfortable or beautiful. The restaurant and bar are top-notch and the historic courtyard is the perfect place to unwind. The neighborhood is full of history and beauty, which only added to the experience. We can't wait to return to this wonderful and unique hotel - it was truly a pleasure!

We had a great time at Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux. The room we had was spacious, beautifully decorated and gave us a view of the neighbourhood's courtyard. The double sinks and a large shower in the bathroom, as well as robes and slippers, made us feel really at ease. On top of that, a bottle of wine plus chocolates and a special New Year's Eve treat bag were provided at turn down service. The accommodation of our three teenage sons in the Casa Neri was practical and comfortable, with both buildings having a rooftop deck. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the delicious breakfast –we were spoilt for choice! Special thanks to Tomas, who met us at the dropoff to help with our luggage and offered many helpful tips about the city. We can't recommend the hotel enough - a truly memorable stay!

My stay at Hotel Neri – Relais & Chateaux was enjoyable overall. The location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter is incredible and the staff were excellent throughout. The on-site restaurant/bar was great and provided a great dining experience. The room unfortunately smelled like a smoker had previously stayed there, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the water from the shower ran out of the tub onto the floor, flooding the bathroom and making it quite slippery to navigate. I had to ask for the promised restaurant discount to be applied at check-out, as well as for some of the amenities to be replenished during my stay. While it provided a good experience overall perhaps it is not a four-star hotel at a five-star price.

Hotel Neri is a fantastic hotel and we absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, particularly Elida at reception and the team in the dining room who went above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and comfortable. Our room was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Barcelona and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting the city.
