This hotel provided an incredible stay at the end of our trip. The building was grand, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Everyone was eager to ensure our experience was second to none. Our room was comfy and the air conditioning was spot on. It was truly a luxurious experience with a cool atmosphere.

Nestled in the Gothic district, this stylish property is within walking distance from many attractions. Its atrium in the middle is a peaceful spot to grab a bite to eat or simply relax. The guestroom we stayed in was roomy, cozy, and included complimentary still and sparkling water, as well as sodas per day. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, creating a homey yet luxurious feel at the same time.

The hotel itself is in the perfectly convenient location, meaning all of Barcelona's wonders are within easy reach. The breakfast was the highlight of my trip; each morning freshly-baked pastries and a wealth of different dishes were on offer. I would not hesitate to recommend the Mercer Hotel Barcelona to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city. I hope to be back soon!

On a very busy Saturday morning, we stumbled across a peaceful haven in the heart of the city. Set within the crumbling walls of the Gothic Quarter, this stylish hotel is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets. From the elegant bar and lounge to the comfortable outdoor seating, no detail has been spared in creating a special atmosphere throughout the hotel. In addition, the breakfast is nothing short of delightful. What really makes this place stand out, however, is the incredible staff. From the first moment of our arrival, they were welcoming and attentive. The concierge took us on a tour, pointing out the history of the building and giving us an insight into its remarkable past. Not only were they helpful with our booking issues, but also provided us with lunch suggestions and even called ahead to check availability. The lovely waiter in the formal restaurant was so entertaining we wanted him to join us for our meal! We didn’t get any of their names, but they all made us feel at home and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a great 6 night stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful with every request we had. The location was perfect; we could walk everywhere and didn’t need to use taxis. We also found some great places to eat away from the tourist spots, with good food and reasonable prices. It is pricey, but the comfortable beds, great showers and no transportation costs make it worth it. The only downside was not knowing that the roof deck was closed for repairs, and there was no early check-in option. Also, my husband suggested that more investment into the mattresses would make bed comfort much better.
