During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel as my second stop on my hotel hopping adventure. I had high expectations, as my previous stay at another hotel in the city was outstanding. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic experience offered by this hotel. Its location may be a bit farther from the Gothic Quarter, but it is situated in the most luxurious area of the street, surrounded by high-end shops like Rolex and Louis Vuitton. This made it convenient to explore the city and provided easy access to a variety of dining and shopping options. Plus, it was only a short walk to popular attractions like Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, and Casa Mila. The nearby subway station also made getting around the city a breeze. In terms of location, this hotel truly excels.
Unlike the modern atmosphere of my previous hotel, this one has a classic vibe. I was impressed by the two Michelin restaurants on site and the exceptional service provided by the staff. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of local wine in our room. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of options as well. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our November visit, but it seemed to be on par with other hotel pools in the area. Our room was stunning, and I especially loved the spacious bathtub in the bathroom. My husband was able to comfortably work at the desk while I relaxed in the living area with a glass of wine. And speaking of drinks, the non-alcoholic selection in the room was impressive, and the best part? It was all complimentary.
If I had to nitpick, the only downside of the hotel was the small bar area connected to the Michelin restaurant. It made me feel a bit uneasy, as if I needed to behave myself or speak quietly the entire time. But overall, this was a wonderful hotel with all the luxurious touches you could want. It is the perfect place to unwind and truly relax during your travels.
? I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Barcelona and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! The location was perfect and the beds were super comfy ? The bathrooms were also great ? I have to give a ?? to Carlos, who took care of us during breakfast. He was so friendly and efficient, making us feel right at home. Such a lovely person who provided excellent service every single day! ?
This hotel we stayed at in Barcelona was truly stunning and delightful. We are already planning on returning again in the future. The service from the employees was exceptional, and everyone was incredibly supportive. Our room was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The location of the hotel is also prime, making it even more convenient for exploring. We can honestly say we had no complaints during our stay. Everything was flawless, and we wouldn't alter a single thing.
During my recent stay in Barcelona, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail at the hotel. It truly went above and beyond my expectations. My family and I opted for a family room, which essentially consisted of two separate suites connected by a door. The furnishings were elegant and all the necessary amenities were provided. What really impressed me was the complimentary soft drinks, juices, and even popcorn. Additionally, the availability of a small shower for the toilet seat was a rare and appreciated find in Barcelona. Plus, the location of the hotel was outstanding. The concert services were exceptional and even included access to apartment services at LaRoca Village outlets. I must also mention the exceptional hospitality of the bellman, Alex, and the concierge, Miss Elizabeth. If I ever return to Barcelona, I will undoubtedly choose to stay in this category of hotel once again.
During my stay, I found this hotel to be a bit underwhelming. It seemed to be aiming for a luxurious feel, but came across more as a 3-star establishment. The lobby was on the smaller side and the staff didn't seem very interested in providing top-notch service. I decided to upgrade to a room with a balcony, but was disappointed by the cramped space and uninviting layout. The pool deck was also quite small. The main highlight of this hotel was its convenient location, which may be why it falls short in other areas. Overall, my experience was average at best.
