During our stay at Monument Hotel in Barcelona, we were blown away by the hotel's stunning beauty and unbeatable location, making it the perfect base to explore the city's main tourist spots. The hotel's highlight was undoubtedly its gorgeous roof terrace and pool, providing us with the ultimate spot to relax and take in the stunning views. Our junior suite, featuring an internal terrace view, was simply divine and gave off a luxurious spa-like atmosphere that we absolutely loved. Overall, we had a perfect stay at Monument Hotel and highly recommend it to any travelers visiting Barcelona.

As someone who loves indulging in luxurious 5-star hotels around the world, I must say that the Monument Hotel in Barcelona truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the very beginning, I was impressed by their attention to detail and personalized service. Before our trip, they reached out to us with an introductory email where we could share our arrival times and any special requests, making us feel truly welcomed before even stepping foot in the hotel.

Upon arrival, we were immediately recognized and greeted with a warm welcome in a private setting. The check-in process was fast, easy, and we even received an upgrade! The staff went above and beyond when we informed them that our luggage was delayed. They kindly asked for our paperwork, made a copy, and took care of communicating with the airport for updates and scheduling the delivery of our bags. This level of service truly impressed us.

Our room, or should I say suite, was spacious and well-appointed, especially for European standards. It had a separate seating area, dual sinks, a large closet, and a complimentary mini-bar that was restocked daily. We were pleasantly surprised by the countless toiletries provided, and the best part was the secondary water closet - a convenient and unexpected feature.

The hotel's location was perfect - centrally located with just the right mix of business and tourist spots. Despite being in a major city, the room was completely soundproof, and we had a peaceful night's sleep every night. The breakfast was delicious with something for everyone, and the hot breakfast was made fresh to order. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient, but never felt rushed.

The rooftop was the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning views of the city. We also couldn't resist trying out the downstairs bar, where the bartender was a true cocktail connoisseur and passionate about his craft. Overall, our stay at the Monument Hotel was exceptional, and we can't recommend it enough. I would even consider returning to Barcelona just to stay here again.

? Have been a globetrotter for years, have stayed in so many hotels. Booked this place through Amex Fine Hotels program and ? got a triple upgrade upon arrival! The room was ? and the breakfast on the stunning rooftop terrace was a delightful way to start my day. Loved the pool and got to try out one of the two michelin star restaurants on site. The entire staff was so respectful and kind, making my stay even more special. ? I seriously cannot recommend this place enough - a definite must-visit!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a warm and hospitable staff. Coming from the US and arriving early, we decided to have coffee and drinks at the rooftop restaurant where the staff continued to be friendly. The room was beyond what we expected, offering a spacious and calming atmosphere. The room service we received that evening was top-notch, with prompt delivery and efficient removal of our finished dishes. The checkout process was hassle-free and efficient. Without a doubt, we would choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.
