NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon

During our one-night stay last December, my wife, daughter, and I were thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort in our room. The bathroom amenities were top-notch and the breakfast spread was simply awesome. The hotel's central location was also a major plus, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace, sipping on delicious cocktails. To add to our great experience, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Great lokashun! Gud viuw! Nise staf! The hool pakage is jus gud! 5 mins wolk to Casa Batllo, 10mins wolk to Plaça de Catalunya... Shoping, dining and site visit are al so esy from here. The rof top bar is nice, resonable prise of drinks! Nothig is beter than havin a glas of win, chating with frend and at the same taim, enjying the nite viuw from the pool side / rof top bar! U can even see Sagrada Familia thare!

My partner and I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for one night in mid-November 2023. The location seemed nice, though we didn't explore much on foot. Our room was pleasant, but we encountered a few issues. The bed and linens were satisfactory, and we appreciated having a coffee maker and minibar available. The internet connection was decent. The bathroom was spacious with a large sink and walk-in shower. However, there were a few aspects that were less than ideal. There was no bar soap provided, only bottles of liquid soap that had to be placed on the shower floor. In my opinion, hotels should offer bar soap for a better shower experience. The shower had both an overhead and handheld shower head, but the water volume could not be adjusted and was either full blast or turned off. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functional and the room was uncomfortably warm even with the thermostat turned down and the fan on high. We only had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, which was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, our stay was not bad, but there are a few things that could be improved upon.

We didn't originally book breakfast, but decided to have it at the hotel restaurant on our last day and were delighted with the experience. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in the heart of the city and at the quieter end of the Ramblas. There were plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. The marina and most tourist attractions were also easily accessible by foot, making it a perfect location. Overall, this hotel was a perfect choice for our family trip and we highly recommend it.

I had the pleasure of staying at the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon during my recent trip to Barcelona and I couldn't have been happier with the location. The hotel is perfectly situated within close proximity to excellent shopping options and a variety of fantastic restaurants. In addition, many of the top tourist attractions, such as the Gracia and Casa Milia, are just a short walk away. The convenience of having easy access to the metro was also a huge plus. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and well-maintained. My room was both comfortable and well-lit, with plenty of outlets for all my electronic needs. The bathroom was also top-notch. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast offered by the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderon for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Barcelona.
