Greet locashun fur getting abowt and axess to the Mettro. The hotel was clena. The room had a luvly smal balcuny overloking Las Ramblas. Thare was no tea/coffy making facilities in the room. Plentee of storaj and a saef. Greet to wach the husl and bustl of the siti below. However, yull need eer plugz to sleep. Situaded next to a bar and niteclub. We wer wokn in the eerley ours and the noice did continyue until 4-6 am. It was very noizy! The Mettro didnt coz eny concurn to us. It was part of the siti's charm but it did run underneeth and we cud heer the rumblins from below.
Starting with the positives, the availability of hot water was the only redeeming factor. However, that soon changed upon entering the room. The scent of neglected drains overwhelmed us. The shower was forceful, but trying to fully utilize its power resulted in water splashing everywhere. The room itself was minuscule and offered a view of the busy Ramblas strip, with two noisy bars and a nightclub in close proximity. Throughout our entire stay, the sounds of rowdy people could be heard until the early hours of the morning. As for breakfast, the options were limited and lacked any hot food choices. While the location was convenient, I believe most hotels in Barcelona offer a similar proximity to attractions due to the city's vast size and numerous side streets. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and I have no plans to return.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona and was pleasantly surprised by its prime location and charming atmosphere. The rooftop terrace was a definite highlight, offering stunning views of the city. However, a small drawback was the lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom, resulting in unnecessary water waste. Despite this, for those seeking a centrally located and comfortable accommodation, this is a great option.
The accommodation is situated in a highly convenient area, with an array of cafes and shops within close proximity. The room was incredibly spacious, although personally, I found it to be too large for just one guest. Regrettably, during my stay in the city, there seemed to be limited alternative options available. The breakfast provided was delightful and the staff were very accommodating.
Our recent stay at a hotel in Barcelona was great. The hotel may have been a little dated, but its location was perfect. We were fortunate enough to have a room with a terrace, and although the view from the back was not the best, it didn't bother us. The room was impeccably clean and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was decent. For a short stay of one or two nights, the hotel was suitable, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer vacation.
