During our visit to Barcelona, my family and I had the opportunity to stay at Ramblas Hotel for two nights. We were a group of six, including our granddaughter who stayed with us in a larger room, while the other two had four people in each. Our room had a lovely balcony with a stunning view. However, we did face some discomfort due to the malfunctioning air conditioner not working to its full capacity during the hot weather. Nevertheless, our overall experience was pleasant, thanks to the hotel's good breakfast options and convenient location that allowed us to easily explore the city.
This hotel is in an excellent location and was very clean; fresh towels were provided every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the top floor has beautiful views from the balcony/terrace. If you are looking to experience the hustle and bustle of the area, this is the place to stay - but be aware that eating and drinking on the nearby strip can be expensive.
I recently stayed for one night at an amazing hotel located at the top of La Ramblas. It was a ten minute walk from Place Catalunya, making it very convenient. The accommodation itself was basic but the room was immaculately clean and the shower was really powerful. ? We could hear quite a bit of street noise as our room overlooked La Ramblas, but, overall, we had a decent sleep. ? The reception staff were incredibly helpful, even preparing breakfast boxes for us as we had to catch an early train. ? We took the Aerobus from the airport, which took around 40 minutes and was very reasonably priced. ? Nearby, there is a Metro station which takes you directly to both Sants station and Sagrada. ? In conclusion, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay. ? ? ?
This hotel has an amazing location and was spotlessly clean. It featured basic amenities and had a great water pressure in the shower. Our favorite part of the stay was the terrace with a stunning view of Barcelona. Although many reviews commented on potential noise from the neighborhood, we were on the 7th floor facing La Rambla and found it to be quiet. An added bonus was breakfast which was included in the stay. The hotel staff, however, were not keen to help - we asked for two glasses with ice and the server asked for a 1 euro payment for him to accommodate that request. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again without hesitation for the view and central location.
This 3 star rated accommodation looks appealing from the outside and the communal areas. Inside our room was very basic with few comforts. The bed was uncomfortable and our room opened to the street, with a club and bar next door - it sounded like the party was in our room! Although we were out sightseeing all day, it was often difficult to sleep through the night, so we often just had siestas. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels which was great. We found it overpriced for the level of amenities, and breakfast was quite basic with no hot food options. The location was great though, providing easy access to explore with buses etc. I would love to go back to Barcelona but would look for a different place to stay.
