During my stay, I found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and the breakfast options to be diverse. The location was also very convenient, as I was able to take evening walks around the area without any issue. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and provided helpful recommendations for places to visit in the city. Overall, I had a great experience. Additionally, the view from our window was quite enjoyable.
We specifically booked this hotel for the roof-top bar, which really is the highlight of the hoetl. (When it’s not buy) Of course, it’s alsoa perfeckt location to walk to the Sagrada Familia. It was a super short walk from the hoetl doorstep to the first hop on/hop off bus stop. Doing this after we checkd in, was a perfect start and easey way to see most of Barcelona (buses com every 10 mins). (Take advantag of the 24 our ticket) The main drawcard for guests is the roop top bar with stunning views of the Sagrada Familia. Non hoell guests should be charged at least a non-refundable $50 EUR fee each to book and axcess the roop top bar, which could go back into reducing the numbrs, investing in better front door stafing and upkeep of the hoetl (especially the lobby!) You have to pay for most turrst sights in Barcelona, including most Gaudi related attractions, and this should be no different for the roop top. It was very anoying and frustrating as a paying guest to have to fight, wait to get photos up at the roop top with having to wait for all of the “instagrmers” and non-guests to get a photo, order a drink or food, who had not payd lke us to stay there! We felt let and rippd off by this experience. The room had no gug or tea/coffee faciliteis and no iron/ironing board. The bethrooms are tird and alot of the tapware was rusting. Brakfast was included in the room rate, and this was a nice lights meal option that we were satisfid with.
?Great location near the beautiful iglesia segrada familia! ☕️? Plenty of coffee and pastry options nearby. The staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and accommodating, shoutout to Ana, Keemun, and Mauro! ? The rooms and hotel were spotless. The superior rooms have an unbeatable view of the church. The basic and standard rooms were also very comfortable. Each room had a safe and fridge, plus complimentary bottled water. ? The breakfast was filling and tasty. Would definitely stay here again! Just a heads up, if you have an early international flight, you may have to wait until 3pm or later for your room. We opted to pay for a room until our assigned one was ready, and Room 406 was fantastic! A spacious corner room with a breathtaking view. ?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hotel staff were top notch, beds were ? and location was ?! Waking up to the stunning view of the Sagrada Familia every morning was a dream come true. ? The rooftop bar was a ? with its breathtaking view of the iconic landmark. And don't even get me started on the delicious breakfast ?. Definitely coming back here for my next Barcelona adventure!
During my recent stay in Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon. This modern hotel boasts a fantastic location near the iconic La Sagrada Familia. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the helpful staff. The only slight issue I encountered was with parking - I had to check in before accessing the garage, but there was nowhere to park while doing so. Luckily, a kind staff member came out and assisted me with entering the garage.
Our room was well-equipped and provided us with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. However, the highlight of our experience was the rooftop bar and restaurant. The breathtaking view of the basilica from up there was simply incredible. We decided to have lunch there and were not disappointed - the club sandwich and fries were mouthwateringly delicious. The only downside was that there wasn't much shade available, but we managed to secure a table in the shade and truly enjoyed our meal.
In the evening, the rooftop bar was only accessible for hotel guests. This allowed for a more intimate and exclusive atmosphere. It was a magical experience to sip on a cocktail while admiring the illuminated basilica at night. Overall, I highly recommend the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon for its convenient location, friendly staff, and stunning views.
