? My stay at the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon in Barcelona was ?! The staff was ?, the location was ?, and the rooftop bar had?, but the food was a bit ? and the options were limited. The only issue was not being able to get fresh towels when housekeeping was closed ?. However, the view of the Sagrada Familia from my room was ? and the rooms themselves were spacious, gorgeous, and immaculate.

I had a ? stay at this hotel. The room was ?♀️, with no real window for fresh air and a bed on wheels that kept rolling away from the wall whenever I sat up. The shower room had stains on the ceiling and the air vent was covered in ?. I paid for a double room, but the bed was barely big enough for one, and there was only one bedside table. Definitely not ? of a 4-star hotel. The only ? was the rooftop view, which you can enjoy even without staying here.
The accommodation in Barcelona can be quite expensive, and this one follows suit. The rooms are neat and well-maintained, but incredibly cramped- there is barely any room to work at the small desk and forget about any morning exercises. I was taken aback by the 25% increase in price for extending my stay last minute. The rooftop bar boasts stunning views of the Sagrada Familia, but the prices are on the lower end and slightly steep. Unfortunately, I faced difficulties during checkout as the POS machine was not functioning, and they were unable to process a credit card physically.
Stayed in this hotel expecting to be in a great place close to everything. It was right by the infamous Sarada Familia church with great sights from the rooftop, but that was it. The neighbourhood wasn't the nicest. The hotel had a vinegar-like smell when we arrived but it was only around on the first day. The customer service we received was far from satisfactory. We had asked them to call us cabs as we were running late for a tour, but they never came. Rooms were just ok (not sparkling clean). We only got three tissues for the three nights. There was no coffee machine in the room and the coffee at the restaurant was awful. Hairdryers were really bad, you had to squeeze the handle for it to work, and it was impossible for people with arthritis. Lobby & bar area weren't very nice looking and there was no one manning the bar.
This hotel's rooftop restaurant boasts a beautiful view, with some delicious drinks to enjoy. However, the food is quite basic, with cold chips being served. Additionally, if you're booking from England, make sure to factor in the time difference, as there was a slight mix-up in our booking time. We would recommend this hotel just for drinks, and book at least a week in advance.
