The location is great and the view from our room was wonderful, but the service left a lot to be desired. We were made to feel unwelcome at times and the staff didn't seem to understand our needs. The bar tenders were particularly unhelpful and it felt like we were not respected as customers. Overall, it is a shame because the hotel itself is quite nice, but the staff's attitude made it unpleasant to stay here.
I had a really unpleasant experience staying at the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon. The air conditioning didn't work and the temperature inside was too hot (over 80 degrees). We were told that it could only be used during summer, despite being advertised as one of the amenities. Other guests had the same issue and there was no solution offered apart from turning the air off and having to suffer through the heat. It felt like a sauna and it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. I'm hoping that in the future they fix this issue and no guest has to go through a similar experience.
Sercotel Hotel Rosellon was an amazing hotel! The location was perfect for sightseeing, within walking distance to many attractions including the Sagrada Família. The room we had was very comfortable, with a great view of the iconic church. The breakfast was delicious and the bar had nice food and drinks. Plus, the metro was just a short distance away. But the best thing was the rooftop bar! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.
We had the pleasure to stay at Sercotel Hotel Rosellon for a few days. The location was perfect, just a few minutes away from Sagrada Familia. The staff was very helpful, smiling and accommodating. The room was modern and neat. The views from the rooftop were amazing. We spent a few nights there, watching the sun setting from the 8th floor. The bar was excellent as well and the drinks were served cold and fresh. All in all, a great experience that made us feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended!
The only nice thing I can say about this place is the view is lovely but that's about it.
I stayed at the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon on my recent trip to Barcelona and I have to say I was very unimpressed. The staff at the hotel were unhelpful and unwelcoming at best. The rooftop bar wasn't much better either; the staff were quite rude and unkind. Despite the lovely view, it certainly wasn't worth the miserly welcome you receive. I would definitely not recommend staying here or returning there again. Barcelona is such a beautiful city with many places to visit, and so many friendly, hardworking people - so I'd recommend finding somewhere else to stay.
