If you're anticipating a typical Travelodge experience from the UK, you may want to reconsider your expectations at this hotel. The rooms are extremely basic and not exactly budget-friendly. I had selected the option for WiFi and breakfast when booking, but upon arrival, I was informed that neither were included. Perhaps this was an issue with booking.com. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the place spotlessly clean, with a friendly staff. It's also conveniently located near multiple supermarkets and dining options, and a reasonable distance from the beach (which was surprisingly pleasant and warm in December, especially when we had left snow behind). The walk to the nearest underground station is manageable, and I must say that Barcelona's public transportation system surpasses any I have experienced. Although, I am uncertain if this is a trait specific to Barcelona, or a common occurrence in Spain (as I have not encountered it in the Balearic or Canary Islands), but do not expect people to wait for you to get off the train, tube, or bus before rushing on. Apologies for digressing from the hotel itself, but overall, it is definitely worth considering for your stay.

This hotel has an unbeatable location, within walking distance of various attractions. The facilities are top-notch and the cleanliness is impeccable. Not only that, the staff's hospitality is exceptional, and they prioritize sustainability. The delicious breakfast buffet is a great start to the day, and it's the little touches from the reception team that truly make the stay memorable. This was my second visit to this hotel, and I can confidently say that the staff is what sets it apart.

I am pleased to share my experience at the Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou, where my partner and I stayed for a night before embarking on a Mediterranean Cruise. As we are from the United States, we were not familiar with the local Metro and Bus Systems. However, the staff at the hotel were extremely patient and accommodating as we navigated our way through the new travel system. I must say, the front desk staff in particular, went above and beyond to assist us during our stay.

Even while on the cruise, we were able to use the hotel's reservation system to book our return stay. However, due to limited and unreliable wifi on the ship, I accidentally made a mistake in the dates requested for our reservation. Despite our attempts to correct the error online, we were unsuccessful. Upon our return to Barcelona, we rushed to the Travelodge and sought help from the front desk. It was here that we were assisted by the lovely Esther Prados, who quickly rectified my mistake. Her kindness and consideration in helping us rebook our reservation for the correct dates was truly appreciated.

What's more, when we returned to the hotel after 7 days, Esther warmly greeted us and even remembered our names. This personal touch left a lasting impression on us and we will forever appreciate her kindness. Our stay at the Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou was made even more enjoyable thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Esther.

My stay at the Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou Hotel was an incredible experience. The hospitality and service were top-notch, and I was thoroughly impressed. The comfort of the hotel was exceptional, and I was able to relax and unwind easily. I must mention Mr. Pepper, who was a great help during my stay. He is a kind and considerate gentleman who went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience at this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. The staff members were fantastic, and everything was perfect.

? Good location, 5⃣ min walk to the ?️. Basic rooms, no ? or ?‍♀️, had to leave a ? deposit which was strange. Clean and ? hotel, walkable to ? and ?. 20 min to Barcelona center. Might not stay again, depends on need for central location. Fine hotel overall.
