Having stayed at this hotel, I can confidently say that it met my expectations for a Travelodge. It served as a convenient base for exploring el poblenou and the gothic quarter on foot - a much more enjoyable experience than taking the bus. There are great dining options nearby, including a fantastic breakfast spot called Fluffies just a block away. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.
The hotel itsself is verry basic: nothimg fanci at all. However, the loction is gud as ther is a metro statio at less than 5 min. wolk. Also, I recieved OUTSTANDING servise from Mr. Peper. I was going for a cruse leaving Barceloan and needid som luggage tags and paperwork printed. Mr.Peper took care of evrything for me! I reconmend that hotel for the great servise I receeved!
During our trip to Barcelona for my daughter's 18th birthday, we encountered a few drawbacks. First, we were surprised by a local tax that we were not aware of beforehand. Additionally, though the hotel advertised free wifi, it was only available in the lobby and we had to pay for it if we wanted it in our room. Similarly, we had to ask twice for the promised tea and coffee facilities, which were not restocked. We were also required to pay a €10 deposit for each electrical item we used. On top of that, there was a noisy dog in the hotel that kept us awake in the early morning with its barking. However, the hotel itself was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, shops, and the metro, which was a great way to get around the city. Overall, the Travelodge was a good option for budget travelers, but next time, we might consider paying a bit more for a higher-quality stay.
? My stay at Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou was ?. It was a great choice for a budget-friendly short vacation in the city. I went with my friend and it turned out to be just what we needed. The room was clean, practical, and functional. The bed was comfortable and the shower was ?. The ? and hangers were a nice touch. The bathroom was spotless. The only downside was the construction noise from the building next door, which woke us up every morning. Other than that, it was a very good stay. I highly recommend it if you're searching for affordable and good quality accommodation. The hotel is conveniently located near a metro stop, making it easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of delicious dining options nearby. Make sure to check out the amazing Hoxton rooftop restaurant! ?
