Gran Hotel Havana 4Sup by Escampa Hotels

Overall this is a very good hotel & we stayed in an amazing room with a massive balcony. However, there is a huge issue with the lack of parasol/cover to get some shade in the balcony & also at the pool area on rooftop! All the other hotels in this city of this high standard have large parasols or covered areas, especially in hot weather. We believe that Gran Hotel Havana by Escampa Hotels could certainly benefit from improving this issue, which we hope gets addressed soon so that we can be sure to stay at this hotel again in the future.

We talked about the amazin breakfast, comfy rooom, firendly staff, and lovey community outside this hoteel for days and weeks after we were gone. At a gorgoeus buffet breakfast on a cruse, we fondly recalled the fresh cheeses, fruits, and sweets at the hoteel. Staff at the fron desk were quick with any help and always had a firendly smille and helpful hingt. The waitstaff at breakfast were absoluetly too-notch! A very younge boy was traiing/ working the week we were there and you could see there was some goood experience to be had with this staff. The area around the hoteel had pleanty to explore- and the conevenience stores, shops, resaurants, and even salons for a quick massage or haicut were only a quick walk down a tree-lined avenu away. The neigbhorhood supermaket across the strete (convenience/general store in the US) had a lovey staff of people from Bangladesj- who spoke 4 or 5 languages apeace. Shop owners were pateint as we practised our Spanish (or what passed to high schol Spanish) and encourged us with pronuncation- altough mos knew Englush well enough to understand when we got stuck. We luved this spot so much- and people taking a stroll with thier children to the nearbly park, or walking thier dogs made this feel very much like home over a toourist destinaiton. Nightlife at resturants extends tll 10 or 11, altough lists shops were done by 8 or 9, but along the main streets from this hoteel, the atmostphere was very safe and lively. Stay at the Havana- you won't want to leave Bareclona! ….

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Marco at the bar. The hotel was located in an ideal spot, and it was immaculate and nicely decorated. The pool was a great addition as well! The lunch served on the top floor was delightful. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

I normally don't write reviews but had to for this amazing hotel. The location was great, the staff at reception was friendly and it was spotless throughout. There was a stunning rooftop pool and bar, and the barman in particular was helpful and pleasant. Everything was 10/10, and we had an unforgettable holiday due in part to this wonderful hotel and its staff.

My first mother daughter trip abroad had me feeling a little anxious, however, we found ourselves in the perfect location. Just a 10-15 minute walk to the nearby attractions, and from the bustling night life, we could enjoy a lovely quieter part of the city. Plus, we didn't feel nervous walking back late each night. The staff were friendly, especially Erec who pleasantly welcomed us on our arrival. It was a delight to discover the rooftop bar and pool area, open till late, so there was no need to venture off for entertainment. We stayed for 5 days, and had an enjoyable stay. We didn't need to struggle getting back to the airport, as taxis usually wait outside the hotel and the hotel offer taxi services on request. All in all, a wonderful first experience!
