Nice room with a huge bathroom (unnecessary), clean and comfortable. Good position with accessible transport and plenty of places to eat. Polite and helpful staff. Decent variety for breakfast although no change over the 4 days of stay. The bar on the terrace (top floor) must be lovely with the good weather (it was closed in February). The hotel provided plenty of amenities that were great for our stay such as a pool, gym and spa. To improve: twin beds on wheels which makes them move around uncontrollably; easy for the maids making the beds but annoying for the guests. Something to put the suitcase on instead of having them on the floor would be nice. Also, a few more options for breakfast would have been appreciated. All in all, a great stay!
We had an amazing visit to Gran Hotel Havana by Escampa Hotels, which seemed to get better each day. Three rooms had been booked for our party of six and the beds were so comfortable that it was tough to leave them! The hotel's location was perfect, only a 10 minute walk to the Catalunya Square and approximately 15 minutes to La Rambla, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast selection was incredible - all dietary requirements were taken care of, even down to gluten-free bread rolls specifically made for my daughter, which was truly impressive. We can't thank Marcos enough for his hospitality and attentiveness. We had a smile on our face throughout our entire visit and would highly recommend Grand Havana to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Barcelona!
This hotel really was amazing, and we definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Barcelona. It is easy to find, the staff are very helpful and the rooms and amenities are top class. We spent our last few days in Barcelona here, and couldn't have picked a better spot. The Gran Hotel Havana by Escampa Hotels was definitely the highlight of our time in the city. The room was large and inviting, and the private terrace was a wonderful way to relax and unwind each morning and afternoon. The views from the terrace across Barcelona were simply breathtaking. The staff were fantastic and always available to help us with whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the wait staff were always friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxury stay in Barcelona. Our stay here was truly incredible, and we will definitely be returning in the near future.
