Great location, the staff were very welcoming and the room was impeccable. It easily accommodated three people with a comfortable bed and a sleeper sofa. The balcony added a nice touch to the room. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to dine at the restaurant or use the pool and gym facilities, but they all appeared to be top-notch.
I had an excellent experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff provided superb service and the rooms were always spotless. I highly recommend the breakfast, as it's the perfect way to start a day of exploring Barcelona. Although I wasn't able to use the pool and gym, they both looked inviting. The hotel's location is very convenient, with all major attractions within walking distance. However, having a map of Barcelona would have been useful in planning out our daily itinerary. Overall, a great stay.
This review is based only on the service received by the front desk member of staff named Luis. I walked in off the street at 2am in desperate need of a room in the centre. The hotel was fully booked but Luis assisted to locate any available hotels without success. Having exhausted all the nearby hotels he managed to make a room available and ready as a guest checked out early, allowing me to get a wash and good sleep. Luis is a star employee!
Terrible management. Was supposed to arrive on a Saturday, landed in NY and the flight to Barcelona was cancelled. This meant we would be a day late. Called the company and they changed the reservation. The property had charged the first night several days in advance. Upon arrival, I was told management would be informed of what happened in order to credit my card. Upon check out I was told there would be no credit! I sent proof of the cancelled flight. The corporate side was useless, as they let whatever franchise on-site make the decision’s. Traveling for a living I’ve been a loyal customer for over 16 years and I made it VERY clear if this was not resolved I would be done with them and that’s where it is. I will be going with other companies going forward. They need to take charge, the people that they let have franchises with NEED to comply with Corporate policy, not their own. What horrible customer service.….
I've stayed at different Indigo hotels across the world and have grown to expect great quality and unique designs. Unfortunately, this one didn't quite deliver. The reception area was filled with what felt like standard images on the walls and novelty vases. The room itself was quite small and certainly under whelming for the price, with stained carpets and walls and a mildewy bathroom floor. The only upside was that it seemed to be relatively clean. The lift took an age to arrive and was incredibly noisy. At the end of my stay, the receptionist simply thanked me for my key and nothing else. I was tempted to say that I wouldn't be returning, but thankfully held my tongue.
