This stay was a huge disappointment. We had been promised a guaranteed 3PM check-in, and as a platinum IHG member, were eligible for an early check in. However, we ended up waiting from 10AM until 3:10PM before being checked in by a disrespectful and insulting front desk employee. Not only that, but the air conditioning in our room was not working upon check-in. We strongly advise avoiding this place due to the rude service.

This hotel is a great choice for those visiting Barcelona! With its spacious and well-maintained rooms, the accommodation offers a comfortable stay. Plus, the breakfast options cover all ages, including children. Those looking for a little recreation can even take a dip in the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful, making this a great spot for travelers. Highly recommended!

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. The bartender was great and the room was furnished nicely with a wonderful view of the street. It was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to explore, such as the market, Segrada Familia, several stores, and the waterfront. The room was a comfortable size.

Checkin was a nightmare, no room available and I had to come back later. Despite being a Platinum member, I was still struggling to find a room at 5.30pm. The reception staff asked me if I wanted to include breakfast multiple times, even though I said no each time. The room they provided was terrible, with noise levels through the walls like I had never heard before. The room and bathroom were dirty, with stains on the carpet, warn and stained desktops, and nothing in the minibar. The TV had poor reception and lack of English channels, and the bed was old and rock hard. I checked out after the first night, not wanting to stay any longer because of the staff being so rude and unhelpful. I completed a survey, but had no response from anyone.

I stayed for two nights at this wonderful hotel and was greeted warmly by the check-in staff. One of them, whose name I believe was Alma, made sure to explain all the amenities available, such as the pool and bar/restaurants. As part of my membership, I was offered an upgrade and breakfast - the breakfast was surprisingly generous for the size. I wasn't offered a cooked meal, but I imagine they do have that.

The room itself was spacious and had all the expected comforts. The shower was lovely, and I used a great shower gel from a store called Rituals. The hotel's central location meant I was close to many of the places I wanted to check out in the city.

Finally, I would like to thank the wonderful staff for making my first stay in Barcelona so memorable. I'm terrible with names, but everyone I interacted with - housekeeping, security, and front desk - was absolutely brilliant.
