The location was not great, being close to luxury brands, and the elevator was a nightmare taking 20 seconds to reach one floor. When we arrived in the room, there was a blanket with urine and the carpet was dirty with black marks. The staff were shockingly rude from the moment we arrived and were unhelpful in ordering a taxi. We had asked for three rooms with balconies, however, all the rooms we got had no balcony and the hotel was not "fully booked", as we found near-empty rooms with large balconies which we had to pay extra for. During our stay, we asked for late checkout and the staff threatened us with police if we didn't leave. One staff member, Angelica, was the rudest and worst behaved I have ever seen. The only thing that saved our stay was the nice manager who helped us at the end of our trip.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation for gatherings of any size. The staff was professional and flexible, and the quality of the facility and equipment supplied with excellent. We had a number of value add proposals for our meeting, and the hotel was in a great location with easy access to major Barcelona sites. My experience was very positive and I'm thankful to the staff for making our event a success.

My recent stay in this hotel was far from satisfactory. The room was of decent size, but the sofa bed made navigation difficult, and the room had inadequate lighting. Even more concerning were the issues with the bathroom's ventilation and the heavily stained carpets. Breakfast was dismal in quality with limited options, and the juice, melons, and side dishes all tasted poor. To top it all off, the lift was incredibly slow and small, and the staff were generally unhelpful and even rude on some occasions. The only saving grace was the helpful young girl with long blond hair we encountered on our return. I would not recommend this establishment as it would better be classified as a three star hotel at best.

I was greeted warmly as a loyal customer at check-in. However, I was given a room with no natural light, for nearly a thousand Euros over 3 nights and some of the equipment wasn't functioning correctly. Despite asking 3 times, it was not fixed. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, my laundry arrived a day late and the reply I received when asking if this was the worst room in the hotel was a curt "no". This has been my worst experience ever in a 4-star hotel.

This stylish hotel offers all the amenities you could need and is conveniently located very close to many of Barcelona's attractions. We stayed in room 001 (The Loft) which had the added bonus of a pool view, however it was accessed down a few steps from the terrace which caused a few ants to visit. There was a slight issue with the door lock, which took a few attempts before it would unlock. The room itself was very spacious, with an enormous, comfortable bed and a mural of the stunning Casa Batllo on the wall behind it. The bathroom was great with a huge shower, stocked with quality toiletries, fluffy robes and towels. Although we didn't use the amenities, the pool looked great and others have rated the breakfasts highly. Despite a few minor issues, I loved this hotel and would still give it top marks.
