InterContinental Barcelona, an IHG Hotel

My first stay at this hotel brand left me eager with anticipation. The accommodations and amenities were recently renovated and we were impressed with both the modern decor and practicality. The stunning rooftop terrace is a must-visit, with its inviting atmosphere and refreshing drinks. When we return to Barcelona, we will certainly reserve a room here again. The only downside was the lack of evening snack options at the bar, such as a Club Sandwich.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the InterContinental Barcelona, an IHG Hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I must give a special mention to Luis at reception for his warm welcome that set the tone for our entire stay. Gema at the concierge desk provided us with excellent advice and restaurant recommendations, and Miguel at breakfast was both charming and attentive. Speaking of breakfast, the menu was extensive and the food was simply superb. I highly recommend paying a visit to the rooftop bar, as it is a must-see. Overall, I could not find a single fault with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

The hotel staff were incredibly professional and polite, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect and the rooms were absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the daily greetings from the staff, it was a truly cherished experience. And let's not forget about the beds - they were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. You won't be disappointed!

During our recent trip to Barcelona, my wife and I stayed at an IHG hotel and had a great experience. The hotel had a stunning lobby and a well-designed bar, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. We also enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere in the restaurants and were impressed by the high-quality, locally-sourced breakfast options. Our room was spacious and had a lovely ambiance, with a comfortable bed and stylish decor. The surrounding area was also pleasant and the staff provided excellent service. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Barcelona.

This five-star hotel was quite satisfactory. The staff were welcoming and the property was well-maintained. The doorman, in particular, was very attentive. We stayed in a club room with lounge access, but the experience was not quite on par with other Intercontinentals in Madrid, Singapore or Hong Kong. The lounge was not staffed throughout the day and while there were alcoholic drinks available, the snack selection was limited to cookies and fruit. The tapas options from 5 to 7 pm were also lacking. As it was a weekend and there were few guests, I feel the service could have been more personalized, perhaps with a small menu rather than a buffet. The club did have a separate breakfast area with attentive staff, but with such few guests, I would have preferred a better lounge experience.
