The reception staff at Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou Hotel were extremely helpful on my arrival – as I had a very early flight I was a bit ahead of the check-in time, but they kindly stored my bags away. The hotel is situated in a delightful part of Barcelona, only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a stone's throw away from a fantastic street full of amazing bars and eateries. I was also able to leave my bags at the hotel until 7pm when I collected them for my onward journey – no issues whatsoever! Cleanliness and friendly staff, plus a brilliant location - I've worked in the hospitality industry for the past 30 years and I'm happy to say Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou Hotel came up to scratch.

Post-cruise overnight stay at the Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou hotel. We couldn't afford anything else on the date that we stayed, so we made our prepaid reservation in person a few weeks earlier including an early check-in, but upon arrival we were told to wait until 3pm ?♂️. After waiting for 4.30 hours ? we eventually got our two rooms. The room itself was small and basic but clean. We had to ask for a kettle and coffee/tea as basic amenities were not provided ?♀️. Bed was ok, nothing special ?. We would probably pay the extra and stay across the road at the Paxton ?. ? ? ? ?
No refund even in emergency and notice months prior to arrival. The location was convenient, however the room was extremely small and lacked any dressers, a safe, or a hair dryer. Early check-in was advertised, yet it was still not allowed upon arrival, and a charge was even made. Won't be revisiting this hotel again.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was well organized and check-in was smooth with no waiting time. The value for money was excellent. Internet connection was fast, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast - it was speedy and the food and bread were delicious. The fitness room was lovely and the hotel's location was convenient for visiting each of our customers.
A hotel with zero ??character or personality. We were first greeted by a ?receptionist who clearly looked like we were irritating her ??♂️by checking in. To add to that, they charged us 65€ for Barcelona city tax, which was nowhere to be found in the confirmation. All you can find is a small print saying that you'll have to pay an amount, without specifying exactly how much.? Not to mention the bad ?breakfast. Avoid this place at all cost! ?
