Booked a room for a one-night stay near the beach, just a 5-10 minute walk away. Not much around in terms of shops and eateries, but taxis were right outside. Construction going on did make it noisy in the morning. Breakfast buffet had a good variety, and the 24-hour snack options came from vending machines.
Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou was an excellent choice offering great value for money. We could easily access the bus, metro and the beach from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and they even packed a takeaway for us since we had to leave for our flight before breakfast. The room was small but very cozy and comfortable. There was a minor issue with the door but the reception and maintenance staff were very quick to help us and solved the problem promptly. We are grateful to Bernary for going above and beyond in allowing us a free early check-in when my wife felt unwell upon our arrival in Barcelona - thank you!
We had a good stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely clean and the bathroom was great, plus the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to pay extra for wifi unless we booked directly on their website. Additionally, there was only one chair in the room for two people and no phone either, so we couldn't call the lobby from the room. There also wasn't any sort of mini-fridge in the room. It takes 45 mins to get to the touristic center on foot, although the walk was enjoyable. It's close to the beach and close to multiple restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
We had a very pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and offered great service. The breakfast was of a high quality and the rooms were spacious and fantastic value for money. We would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone and would definitely consider returning in the future.
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying for seven days at this wonderful accommodation located near a subway station. It was incredibly clean and close to the beach, restaurants, and services we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, so we will certainly return if we ever make it back to the area.
