I absolutely adore this place for countless reasons. It is situated in a beautiful piazza, across from the magnificent Barcelona Cathedral and my room, number 409, looked out over it - simply fabulous! It is conveniently located and within easy walking distance of everything. The room and the entire hotel was incredibly clean. The restaurant and terrace were both outstanding. But, most of all, the staff were excellent - especially Jamie. He helped me book tours and restaurant reservations and drew numerous maps to help me find my way around. He was really brilliant and I'm so sorry to be leaving.
The noise here was unbearable ???. We notified the front desk manager, Maria, and I showed her a video of the noise. She said that the “law in Barcelona allows for construction noise between 8 am and 10 pm” ?♀️, but the jackhammer noise started well before 8 am ?. Unfortunately, their only response was that they were legally within their rights ?♀️. All in all, not a pleasant stay ?.
Our stay at this gorgeous hote⭐ was amazing! The decor was so stylish, and everything was done up in soft muted colours. We got an upgrade to a supeior room without a view, but it was very comfotable and even had a huge terrrace which was a nice suprise! Our room overlooked the edge of the plaza in front of the cathedral and it was alway buzzing wiht entertainers like musicians and acrobats. The view from the roof-top terrace was stunning, espeshally of the cathedral. Unfortunatly they had limited food options there and drinks with mixers were really pricey (? 18 euros!). All the staff were very efficient, though some of them were quite grumpy (?) maybe its a spanish thing.. Breakfast was extremly varied and they would make omletts or fried eggs to order. Btw, if you're driving to the hotel, use google maps. It'll lead you off the main road onto a side street that looks pedestrianised, but you can actually drive on it. When you see the BBVA bank it's directly opposite! ? You can park for free if you book directly with the hotel (?) and collect a QR code to access the stairs to get back to your car. Plus, the current deal offers 10% off if you book at least 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and you should book ahead for any attractions you'd like to see! ?

Stopped off here for a late morning tipple after our tour guide recommended it the previous day! The staff were so helpful, it didn’t matter that we weren’t residents. They guided us to the rooftop on the 7th floor and to our amazement we were rewarded with stunning views of the Cathedral (we recommend going up the extra flight of stairs to the very top level!) There was a canopy covering the top level which provided a bit of shade on a very hot day - being so high up, you do get a nice breeze though! The drinks prices were very reasonable, €7 for an Estrella, €7 for a white wine and no service charge - you really got your money's worth with the views! We'll definitely be returning, perhaps to actually stay this time around.
Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience. The location was safe and convenient, located in the Gothic Quarter. Everything was first class from the lobby to the rooms. The breakfast was excellent and worth the additional cost. The staff and bellmen were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. The roof top lounge was a perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset cocktail!
